I ordered the banoffee French toast & it was really, really good! The ricotta so perfectly balanced the intense sweetness of the caramel & banana, & the crunch bits of seeds & nuts made the whole thing a textural joy. The coffee was pretty good as well, although not quite in the same league as the food ⭐?⭐?⭐?
This cafe is a must try if you are in Old Montreal. The staff were attentive & very kind, the decor was full of character & the food was phenomenal. I highly recommend trying the smashed potato salad. It was very fresh & full of flavour, great choice for anyone who is gluten-free or vegan!
This is was one of the best breakfast/brunch experiences I've had in Montréal or anywhere else. I had a really superior matcha latte & the eggo fuego sandwich minus the meat, which was hands down the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. In addition to using tasty basic ingredients, the combination of the buttery brioche with the piquant sauce & the rich egg & cheese were an absolute win. Friendly service topped it off nicely.
Delicious food - the salmon bowl was to die for & the iced matcha was delicious. My friends also loved their food & drink choices. The wait time is a little insane as we waited about an hour for a table. Service was not the best as well, our server made a mistake on our bill & then was upset & visibly annoyed when we corrected her. They also only have one washroom & it was gross & needed it to be cleaned.
A cool, chill spot to have a latte or lunch, brunch. Good flavors & portions. Delicious coffee & matcha drinks. Friendly helpful bilingual staff.
Such a cute little gem in the middle of Old Port. Montreal is a city of eats & this place does not disappoint. Be sure to grab the ham & cheese sandwich.
Such a lovely brunch spot in a perfect location in Old Montreal. The menu is simple but still offers plenty of options for different tastes. The sweet ricotta was amazing & definitely a highlight. They also make excellent coffee & pastries, which makes it hard to go wrong with anything you order.
The atmosphere is cozy, the service is kind & attentive, & everything felt welcoming. We were very happy with our experience. They do not take reservations, so it can get quite busy depending on the day, but it is well worth the wait.
La nourriture est bonne mais chère pour une assiette sans accompagnement. A peine notre dernière bouchée avalée qu'on nous parle déjà d'addition. Bon mais trop cher pour des sandwichs sans accompagnement.
Very good pastries & always smells great. Nice people with nice services.
A place where time slows, coffee warms the hands, & the city softens into something intimate. Familiar, grounding, & quietly generous , like returning to a thought that always knows you.
Sandwich délicieux, mais 33.25$ (taxes & pourboire inclus) pour un grilled cheese... Je comprends maintenant pourquoi je ne vais plus au restaurant depuis quelques mois. Je ne retournerai plus.
This is a great place for breakfast or lunch. The staff is friendly & helpful & the food they serve is excellent. However, the menu is limited & you may want to check online if it is to your taste before going.
Très bel endroit où l'on mange vraiment bien, c'est convivial & très agréable. Les serveurs sont très sympathiques.
