3 stars - a solid choice
I tried a matcha with strawberry, & a box of six donuts.
The donuts have a cute shape & are easy to share, regular donut dough. The sweetness comes from the toppings they put on. Edit: after eating them all, I think they all taste pretty similar if not the same
The matcha itself just tasted like sweet milk, there wasn't much matcha flavour.
I've been curious about this place so I made a trek to visit, but it's just normal level of good. I wouldn't visit from out of town or even from outside of downtown necessarily, but it's good if you work/live/go to school nearby
Tried out OCHA on a weekend evening. They do BBT, mochi donuts (9 flavours), egg sandwiches & soft serve. $5.00 rotating daily weekday specials along with three $3.99 drink specials.
- Hojicha latte ($3.99) - subbed for oat milk ($1.00 extra). Good, strong hojicha flavour
- Matcha fraise mochi donut ($3.99) - legit matcha flavour. Good mochi texture
Good variety & great drinks. I recently tried the Matcha cream & im not disappointed, I can tell the matcha was quality & effective lol! & the guy that served me was smiley & helpful. I also tried in the past the Sando with chicken & eggs which was delicious & very filling.
There are many good bubble tea shops downtown but this one I definitely recommend.
Je ne sais pas si j'étais en manque de sandwhich aux oeufs ou que leur Oeuf royal était simplement exquis. Leurs omelettes sont aussi moelleuses que les deux tranches de pain qui les enrobbent.
C'était la première fois que je prennais un beigne aux mochis & ça ne sera surêment pas la dernière fois (Je conseille vivement celui au matcha & oréo).
L'aspect élastique & visqueux de la pâte aux riz est une sensation agréable en bouche lorsque vous la mastiquez.
Si vous aimez les cafés sucrés, vous serez comblés par leur Café Viet. L'ajout de lait condensé est gourmand & onctueux. Il est d'ailleurs servi autant chaud que froid, alors toutes les raisons sont bonnes pour le consommer à toutes les saisons!
Cependant à mon arrivé, la propreté des lieux était à désiré. C'est rapidement pardonnable vu l'achalandage qu'il y avait à ma venu. En espérant qu'ils prennent le temps de ramasser après chaque client par la suite.
Si vous cherchez un endroit pour manger de délicieux sandwichs aux oeufs, n'allez pas plus loin. Si vous cherchez un endroit pour étudier, passez votre chemin. La musique est assez forte & donne l'ambiance d'un club.
Not as good as I remembered last year, but overall still okay. Ube was nice (though a bit sweet), & matcha good too. Nutella one is mehhhh.

Easily the best bubble tea shop in the Guy-Concordia area! Their pearls are perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sweetness, & their matcha is the best I've had in Montreal. Plus, their weekday deals are unbeatable-especially with boba prices rising in recent years. Extra points for the mochi donuts :)
We got to try OCHA's Donuts for the first time on their Free Donut Day, as we loved the concept of mochi donuts & were excited to try them out. I had the Strawberry mochi donut, & I'd recommend it, it was perfectly light & sweet. Others in my group tried the Matcha & Biscoff donuts, both of which were good, just not as flavourful as they were expecting, unfortunately. What was very flavourful, one could say too much so, was their Yuzu Honey Tea, which we got hot. It was somehow both too sweet & too sour at the same time, & every sip just intensified the flavours rather than mellowing out.
Lots of options to chose from. I got the matcha latte & would highly recommend. The service was quick & the staff was friendly! Will definitely come back
I usually get the $5 daily drink on Fridays, which used to be matcha lattes. I really enjoyed it, but I'm giving 2 stars because they recently changed their $5 drink menu & Friday's drink is matcha yuzu. Why were there seeds & peels in the yuzu jam! Chewing the bitter yuzu peels & seeds was disgusting... to make it worse, I couldn't taste the matcha at all. The only reason why I knew there was even any matcha in my drink is because my drink was green. Otherwise the yuzu was overpowering & I spent most of my time chewing disgusting bitter peels & seeds. Avoid the matcha yuzu at all costs!!!!!! Thank god I only paid $5.75 for it. I feel sad for anyone that paid the full price.
We came here on the promotion day to try out their Mochi Doughnuts & we got the chance to try the matcha crème brulée & the Biscoff cookie flavoured ones. Both tasted amazing & the drinks are also really good they have a variety of choices! Staff is very nice & welcoming, parking is very hard because it's in the middle of Downtown Montréal ! It's also located near metro Guy Concordia!
J'ai seulement goûté à leurs mochi donuts & ils sont délicieux! Ma saveur préférée étant le matcha crème brûlée. La texture est parfaite & le goût aussi. J'ai appelé à plusieurs reprises pour avoir des informations & les employés ont toujours été très gentils & aidants. Je recommande fortement & j'espère qu'ils vont ouvrir une succursale sur la rive nord. L'emplacement serait mon seul bémol.
I finally got to try Ocha's mochi doughnuts, & I was blown away. The doughnuts are freshly made every day, & you can absolutely taste the difference. Each bite is soft, airy, & chewy-a delightful balance that makes mochi doughnuts so special. I tried two flavors: the Matcha Crème Brûlée & the Biscoff. The matcha crème brûlée was phenomenal! It had a silky matcha filling with a slightly bitter edge, balanced by a caramelized sugar crust that added a satisfying crunch. It's definitely a standout flavor for anyone who appreciates the earthy taste of matcha. The Biscoff doughnut was also well-executed, with its spiced, caramel-like sweetness, but personally, I preferred the matcha. I was hoping to try the ube flavor, but sadly, it wasn't available that day. I'll definitely be coming back to try it, though! Ocha has really mastered the art of mochi doughnuts-perfect texture, exciting flavors, & a quality that shows in every bite. Highly recommended!
Lovely environment, love the matcha & the ube flavoured mochi. I personally think that the cinnamon & the Nutella flavoured mochi isn't as good as it used to be.

Love the mochi donuts, so far it's the only place in mtl where you can get them! Highly recommend the matcha, Ube & strawberry!
