I ordered butter chicken, paneer butter masala, & tandoori naan, & honestly the entire meal was a letdown. Everything tasted like it came from a completely different cuisine. The food had no flavor, was overly sweet, & the portions were mediocre at best.
The butter chicken was the biggest shock. It was literally yellow, which already told me something was off. It didn't taste like butter chicken at all. This cannot be tomato based curry. There was no richness, no spices, nothing. Just a sweet, bland sauce that felt like it was missing every ingredient that makes the dish what it's supposed to be.
Paneer butter masala was no better…… same sweetness, same lack of depth, same disappointment. This was the red curry in pic. I could only taste paprika in this dish.
Even the naan was meh. Hard & nothing memorable. This was probably the best tasting one..
Anyways this was beyond disappointed experience.
It was $55. Portion was not terrible but not great. If you season your chicken with salt & pepper only, you will find this okay. But if you ever tried real authentic indian curry, this will be waste of your money & time.
Water bottle for naan size reference. One order is one of that. (We ordered 3)
We ordered idli, masala dosa, & Chettinad masala dosa. The food was average & didn't quite live up to the high ratings on Google. While the dosas were decent, the sambar was very watery & lacked authentic South Indian flavor. Overall, the freshness & taste did not meet expectations. A below-average experience.
The food was absolutely delicious! The dosa was crispy, fresh, & full of authentic South Indian flavors. The sambar & chutneys were perfectly balanced & very tasty. The service was friendly & the atmosphere was clean & welcoming. Definitely a great place for dosa lovers. I will surely visit again! 😊
Best south Indian food in Montreal. This place maintains it's consistency, unlike most other restaurants. I love their Mutton Biryani, Sambar rice, Chicken fried rice.

Honestly one of the best Indian food spots I've tried in Canada. Prices are fair, the place feels underrated, & the ambience is really nice with parking right outside. Deepu was super welcoming & suggested the perfect dishes. Huge thanks to the Chef for making it such a great experience - Will definitely visit again!
Paneer 65 is a must-try if you like spicy food.
All Dosas are 10/10 here.

The owner of this restaurant not only has exceptional culinary skills but also a deep understanding of the business-serving as both the chef & the owner of the restaurant. I ordered the Chettinad Paneer Dosa, which was flavorful & prepared with minimal oil, showcasing a perfect balance of taste & health.
While I did have a brief encounter with a big mosquito near the window, the ambiance was pleasant, with warm lighting. The bathrooms are also clean & well-maintained. If you are visiting Montreal & craving authentic South Indian cuisine, this restaurant is a must-visit.
We tried the Ghee Podi Sett Dosa, Mysore Dosa, Plain Chilli Garlic Dosa, & Paneer 65 Biryani. The Ghee Podi Sett Dosa was definitely the star-especially with their delicious chutneys. Mysore Dosa was also quite good, while the Paneer 65 Biryani & Chilli Garlic Dosa were just okay.
Portion sizes were generous & enough for one person per plate. The restaurant has a nice ambience with plenty of seating, & roadside parking is easily available. A good spot for South Indian food in Montreal
