I stopped by this spot for lunch & desserts, & everything was fantastic! The sandwiches were fresh, packed with flavor. The pastries were equally amazing. The oat bar was a nice balance of sweet & hearty. Friendly service & a cozy vibe made the experience even better. Definitely a place I'll be coming back to!
Nonnina in Lachine delivered an amazing experience from start to finish. The pastries were fresh, delicate, & full of flavor, while the sandwiches were made with high quality ingredients & tasted absolutely delicious. The gateaux & desserts were beautifully presented & tasted just as incredible as they looked. Everything felt authentic & carefully prepared. The atmosphere was warm & welcoming, & the staff was friendly, attentive, & professional throughout the visit. It's rare to find a place that excels equally in pastries, sandwiches, & desserts. Truly a hidden gem in Lachine that I'll definitely be visiting again. Highly recommended!

My mom & I visited Nonnina's with our dog this morning 🐶. The personnel at the cash was quite empathetic & apologized that my dog cannot stay inside the restaurant- which I have foreseen with people having allergies & everything.
When we arrived around 10:20, it was too early for the lunch menu (which starts at 11:00), so my mom decided to stay inside the restaurant, while my dog & I stayed outside on the tables & chairs set-up out front.
While we were waiting for the lunch menu to be ready, we ordered croissants with cheese 🥐. When our order was ready, I didn't realize that mine came with ham (I do not eat pork), so I went back to the personnel at the cash & made him aware of it. Not only did he prepare me a new one with only cheese, but he also let my mom keep the one with ham.
The whole restaurant has such a nice vibe to it & having personnel like that man at the cash (I didn't ask for his name), makes the whole experience even better! The mozzarella tomato 🍅 & mortadella buratta were delicious!!! The vanilla latte was quite good ☕? (per my mom).
Plus, the location is about 5 minutes walk from the Lachine Canal, which is so nice for bird watching!

On est allés chez Nonnina & on a littéralement fait un petit festin italien. On a commandé un sandwich aux cold cuts italiens, un sandwich à la porchetta, des parm fries (avec mayo à la truffe), une pointe de pizza & un mille-feuille, & honnêtement, tout a dépassé nos attentes. Les sandwichs étaient incroyables, surtout celui à la porchetta qui était vraiment délicieux. La pointe de pizza était simple, mais très bien exécutée, avec une pâte & une sauce parfaitement équilibrées. Le service était rapide & les employés très attentionnés. Comme expérience, c'était un repas vraiment agréable où on sentait la qualité dans chaque assiette. Je vais définitivement revenir.
I got fast & friendly service while ordering a take out order. I can't speak for anything else but the baked good I tried we're flavourful & fresh. I'll be going back !
I cannot stress enough on the quality of the ingredients & the flavors. Their zeppole is the best I've ever tasted - light, airy & fluffy pastry with no grease, perfect sweetness balance, refined chocolate, the pistachio tastes natural as well, it's the best.
