I had the immense honor of hosting my baptism at La Table d'André, & it was nothing less than spectacular. Perched on the waterfront with a breathtaking view of the historic Lachine Canal, the setting alone was enough to enchant our guests.
But what truly left everyone spellbound was the culinary genius of Chef Mike Mercuri, whose mastery of modern Italian fusion is a revelation. Each plate was a daring composition-an extraordinary symphony of flavors that cannot be found anywhere else. The world-renowned food critics in attendance, seasoned travelers of the globe's finest dining rooms, were stunned into awe by his creations.
A most profound & heartfelt thanks must also be extended to Frank Criniti, the illustrious owner whose presence is nothing short of magnetic. With a rare blend of charismatic charm, gracious sophistication, & innate hospitality, Frank orchestrates every detail with the poise of a virtuoso. His ability to make guests feel not merely welcomed but celebrated is unmatched; his personal touch infuses the evening with an elegance & warmth that lingers long after the final toast. To be in his care is to be enveloped in an atmosphere of refined splendor & dazzling attentiveness.
La Table d'André is not simply a restaurant; it is an unmissable destination where cuisine, setting, & service converge into an experience of the highest order. For those seeking dining that transcends the ordinary, this is the pinnacle.
We were wowed! We've been meaning to visit since it opened, & after our first experience, we only wish we had gone sooner.
Montreal foodies, this is worth a visit. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional. Our server, also a partner, took the time to share the story & history behind the restaurant, & you could really feel the passion & care that went into creating something special for the Lachine community.
We sat outside with a beautiful view of the water, the food & drinks were excellent. It's clear that a lot of thought has gone into creating a restaurant that brings something different to the area.
We had a wonderful evening & will absolutely be back!
We had a wonderful dinner to celebrate our anniversary tonight. It was our first time there, & it will not be our last.
Their fries are the best I've had in so long & I eat at different French restos every month (but have been living in Toronto, so that explains a lot!)
Belle découverte !. Repas exquis & savoureux, cuisine à mi chemin entre l'Italien & Francais.. Service super chaleureux & personnalisé. J'ai passé un agréable moment. Je recommande vivement. Ratio qualité prix excellent si on veux bien manger.
We went twice to this restaurant, same feeling both times: overrated, expensive for what they put on the table.
We shared an appetizer, my wife had the steak with fries & I had a pasta dish, we were there for almost 2 hours; only 5-6 couples in the restaurant therefore not busy. Waiting half an hour for the appetizer & then forever for the main dish makes for un unpleasant experience.
They could have offered a few slices of baguette with butter or a dish with a bit of olive oil mixed with vinegar to fill in for the long waiting time.
There are other reviews complaining about slow service, must be their signature.
The tables in the mid level section are at arm length from each other one can't help but be part of other people's conversations on both sides.
Staff friendly, food ok, nothing special.
Overall one of those supposedly fancy & expensive places but in reality it's only the latter.
