Afficher touthotel(27) airport(19) breakfast(18) shuttle(16) desk(12) rooms(12) clean(9) propre(8) comfortable(7) parking(7) fairfield(6) helpful(6)Kayla at front desk was amazing! Huge shout out to her. The overall hotel wasn't bad either. In my opinion it's a better property than downtown Fairfield location.
Surprisingly well appointed airport hotel. Friendly & helpful staff with free 24 hour shuttle service. So easy!
My room was huge, quiet & the bed was very comfortable.
Highly recommend.
Very comfortable & modern rooms & bathrooms. Staff is friendly & helpful. The includes breakfast is decent enough for a hotel breakfast, & it doubles as a restaurant/bar in the evening. The pool & gym are also a nice touch. Really no complaints about the hotel itself, especially if you're staying by the airport. Only downside is that any other restaurants/fast food are a bit awkward & a bit of a distance to walk to, but that's what you get with an airport hotel.
disclaimer: got to stay for free on air canada's dime
nice hotel, shuttle service was convenient & staff were very friendly. only thing i disliked was the cost of the water. maybe there was a water dispenser, but if there was i missed it
J'ai laissé mon véhicule & la navette de l'hôtel à accroché mon véhicule. Ils ne sont pas responsables des accidents, c'est leur employé qui a fait ça . Vraiment ordinaire comme service
I thought I would try this Marriott well that was a mistake. Over priced terrible service, did not clean the room when requested & won't answer emails in English
Several hotels in the same area I would suggest to book at another one there
Rather than here.
$800 for three nights wow
I have emailed the hotel with my concerns…no response
Modern well run hotel. The park & fly packages as well as the frequent & free airport shuttle make this Marriott a home run.
I've never been to East Canada before, & this hotel was a great foundational experience for this initial trip.
I went with a couple of friends to attend a convention, & it was super convenient to take the free hotel shuttle from the airport to Fairfield. A quick 5-min drive to & fro, & you're where you need to be!
Everyone at the hotel was so kind & welcoming, too. Every morning I'd go down to the lobby, every housekeeper in the hallway greeted me warmly, & that always felt like a positive start to my day.
At the front desk, Julia was so helpful in guiding my friends & I to the bus station. We were a little anxious at first & didn't know what to expect public transportation-wise, but Julia made it super easy to get passes for the bus & subway, & we had a lot of fun navigating the stops throughout Montreal.
Conveniently, they serve continental breakfast every morning, I believe from 6a-930a. That was also a positive start to each morning for me & something that pleasantly surprised me (the quality of the food & options, I thought, was high & of a good variety). Every person that worked during breakfast also greeted & thanked us warmly, & that was really sweet as well.
Their evening restaurant, the Napa Lounge, is in the same place, just open at night. Olivia had served my friend & I multiple times, & she was so warm & personable. She really made us feel special & taken care of, & those genuinely kind interactions with people are something I really cherish while traveling. Thank you so much Olivia for your excellent customer service & personality.
All in all, great quality! The room itself was nice too. It had everything one needs for a short or long stay, & it was a wonderful refuge for my friends & I to return to each evening.
Bel hôtel, propre, navette gratuite depuis l'aéroport. Moderne. Je recommande.
Excellent experience for a first-time international traveller. Originally chosen due to its proximity to Dorval Station, the bus & train schedule was such that we ended up using the hotel shuttle to go back to the airport, & then grab the bus from there to downtown Montreal.
Bilingual staff was wonderful & welcoming, from front desk, restaurant staff to kitchen staff. I even got friendly nods from housekeeping! The lobby was a simple elegance, the bar was cozy & dim. The restaurant doubled as the breakfast area & was brightly lit & well spaced.
The room had a Nespresso machine & two safes. A small, glass-fronted fridge completed in room utilities. Beds were comfortable, pillows were adequate. Plenty for drawers & shelf space for extended stays. Linens & towels replaced every third day, unless requested otherwise. The television was large & easily viewed while lounging in bed.
Room service was available, but the menu was downstairs. Something to add to the television information screen perhaps.
Breakfast changed daily, a welcome variety to the more common breakfast buffet of other hotels.
Guest laundry, pool & gym were in the SS or basement floor. Laundry soap available for purchase at the front desk. A little chilly downstairs, & every door was accessible only with a hotel room key card.
DoubleTree by Hilton Montreal Airport - Dorval, QC
I stayed here during a work trip, expecting Hilton-level comfort, but the experience fell short. The biggest problem was the climate control. The room refuses to cool below 20°C, leaving it muggy & uncomfortable, & the fan can't be set to run constantly for even a little breeze. After working construction outdoors all day, the last thing I want is to come back to a hot, stagnant room - especially when the rate is over $300 a night. Photo: Thermostat stuck at 23°C after running three hours straight.
The property itself feels oddly restrictive. You can't charge anything to your room - not from the market, not from the restaurant. Want a soda or a snack? You'll have to swipe your card & get a printed receipt every time. It's inconvenient & unnecessary, & it chips away at what should be the ease of a hotel stay. On top of that, everything requires your key card: doors, elevators, even basic access. It makes the place feel more like a locked-down dorm or a minimum-security prison than a welcoming hotel.
On the positive side, the place is clean, & the staff seem to be doing their part. But the atmosphere & policies drag it down. For the price, comfort & convenience just aren't there. I'll be leaving after just one night because the combination of muggy rooms & over-the-top lockdown measures makes it impossible to relax.
I recently have a very bad experience with my stay I booked hotel for 3 nights before leaving from hotel I went to the reception & requested for room cleaning they said you are scheduled for tomorrow & on the next day I went & I told them today we are scheduled for room cleaning they said we will do it today After that we arrived in evening room was in the same condition I called them they said today there was shortage of staff.
In addition in the noon when we were checking out they were blaming us we denied for house keeping Like seriously?
Poor Customer service .
If you like trains your in the right location. Request a room on the backside of hotel for viewing. You can walk from hotel to train station.
My stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Montreal Airport was truly pleasant. From the moment I arrived, the customer service stood out-especially Jad at the front desk, who made the check-in process incredibly smooth & welcoming.
The amenities provided by the hotel were excellent & added a lot of value to the overall experience. The room was clean, comfortable, & well-equipped. I also appreciated the convenience of the airport shuttle & the quality of the breakfast options
Great hotel & service, but pricey, but you get what you pay for, clean, great rooms!
Close to the airport. Rooms look good. Far from anything for walking distance beside small store & fast food. Great airport hotel.
