It was piping hot which made the cheese nice & melty. A bit small of a portion for the price, but still made for a great snack!
Excellent ; service efficace, personnel agréable & portion bien plus que suffisante
Je recommande, c'est un indispensable si vous passez dans le coin !
The food was incredible but beware, the portions are HUGE 🤯 The service is outstanding; the staff is super friendly & attentive. Would definitely recommend going here! In my opinion, both the food & service are better than at the mega-popular La Banquise, which is why I highly suggest going to Montreal Poutine if you're visiting & want a taste of authentic Québécois culture. The location is excellent, close to Champ-de-Mars metro station, & in a very beautiful part of Montreal's Vieux Port. The atmosphere is also much better & less cramped than at the previously-mentioned competitor. 10/10 would recommend 😁
Asked for glass of water & they wanted to charge me even though food & beer was ordered. Poutine was ok but overpriced. Avoid this tourist trap & eat elsewhere please.
The food might be good I would never know because the staff was really unprofessional what's the point of run a food business if your customer service skill is zero.
Rude server, gave attitude, took so long to get our drink (mind you I had a canned soda) & our food, asked us why we didn't tip when the service was HORRIBLE & proceeded to give us attitude. They didn't check up on us once till we had NO food left on our table & then asked if we needed anything else. The servers completely ignored us & we're talking to anyone & everyone but us (it was us & 2 other tables). Not a place for good service.
Unfortunately, our experience at Montréal Poutine was very disappointing.
From the moment we sat down, we felt rushed to place our order. Multiple servers came to our table, but some of our orders were still mixed up, & one person's meal arrived only after everyone else had finished eating.
The interactions with the staff also felt cold & unwelcoming. Throughout our visit, we felt uncomfortable & as people of color, we left feeling that we were not treated with the same level of respect & hospitality we expected. While I can't speak to the staff's intentions, that was genuinely how the experience felt to us.
Our bill was over $300, so we expected much better service & a more welcoming experience.
One other thing to note: bottled water is not complimentary, & we were charged $4 for a bottle.
Love this place always come here when we come in town. Foe years now!
Very average poutine. Not overly flavorful. They only make you buy plastic bottled water & won't serve any fresh to your table.
