It was piping hot which made the cheese nice & melty. A bit small of a portion for the price, but still made for a great snack!
0/5 stars. Absolutely do not waste your time or money here.
We ordered two poutines & they completely forgot the second one. We had to bug the staff multiple times just to get our drinks & the rest of our food.
When the poutine finally showed up, it was a total disaster. There was barely any gravy. Just a pool of watery liquid at the bottom of the bowl (Italian poutine). The cheese curds felt like they were pulled straight out of the fridge, totally cold & un-melted.
If you're in the Old Port & craving a good poutine, skip this tourist trap. Walk a little farther out of the area for the real deal, you'll thank yourself later. Don't let the name fool you, there's nothing authentic about this place.
Just a quick & easy way to have Poutine in Old Montreal. We had the poutine with fried chicken. As a dish, I can't say I'm the biggest fan, but regardless it's pretty good. The combination of fried, cheese, & gravy is pretty unique & not bad. The chicken was pretty good as well.
I've walked in front of this place a million times & told myself tonight was the night, I was in the mood for a good poutine & with a name like Montreal Poutine, you can't go wrong, right?
It was alright...
Nothing to write home about. The gravy was your typical BBQ-style St-Hubert grocery store variety. Fries were OK. Cheese was squeaky, at least.
Patio & music were amazing, though.
Would go back for drinks.
This was probably the best poutine I have had during my trip to Montreal. It had the perfect amount of gravy & cheese. We ordered one to share & ended up ordering a second because it was that good. I'm honestly surprised this place only has a 3.9-star rating; it definitely deserves higher!
Wow! This is an impressive poutine, which is a bold statement for a city famous for its poutines. First & foremost, it was delicious!! The portion is huge, the service is great, the outdoor terrace is fantastic & the price is very reasonable for the giant portion of fries, cheese, gravy & smoked meat in the one I ordered. Big menu full of options for everyone, I highly recommend.
This is hands down the best fries I've ever had. We're talking about poutine - & this place takes it to another level. Perfectly crispy, freshly cut fries, rich & flavorful gravy, & fresh cheese that ties everything together - an absolute explosion of taste.
On top of that, the staff is incredibly friendly & welcoming, which makes the whole experience even better.
Honestly, one of the best places I've ever tried. Highly, highly recommend - you have to try it!
We've tried several other poutines but this is by far the best one we've had. Loaded with gravy & cheese curds. Definitely would come back again.
absolutely loved the atmosphere-the terrace feels like a castle courtyard, a beautiful spot to relax & enjoy casual food. The smoked meat poutine was generous, loaded with cheese curds & meat, & definitely filling. The classic burger with cheese & bacon was hearty comfort food, & while the bacon came more like bits, it gave the whole burger a smoky flavor I enjoyed. Even the hot dog, simple as it was, hit the spot in its toasted bun. Overall, a fun & memorable place to enjoy Montreal staples in a gorgeous setting.
Montreal's best poutine in my opinion! The vibe of this spot in Old Montreal is so cute, the chips are fresh & crispy, with the most flavourful gravy & LOADS of cheese curds! The location is surrounded by cute streets to walk off your food coma. Highly recommend this as your poutine spot when you visit Montreal.
