you have to try the one with caramelized onions on the top!! with bee
Beautiful spot & tasty food. It's in an little courtyard surrounded by old buildings. The food was very good & the service was great. Did is reasonably priced, drink are kinda high, 4$ for a bottle of water, 12$ glass of beer. Our server, Charlotte, was very nice. We ate outside but there were lots of tables inside as well.
No vegan option for poutine on the menu, the gravy contains gluten, not all waiters were able to inform us about allergens & there was no way to look it up, it took 3 people to bring us a QR code to the menu, there was lint in the drink of my partner, I received a different beer than ordered, there was a piece of cheese in my'vegan' poutine, I did not receive onions on my poutine even though it was ordered.
A chill spot for a meal we had. Québécois pub grub & local beer & cocktails with a surrounded open air courtyard. Located in Old Montreal, tourist pricing, it was not my first choice, but the one located near Jacques-Square had no hydro that afternoon (a normal for too much A/C pumping through establishments on that path)
We ordered the classic poutine with smoked meat platter to share, & to say we had both Montréal iconic dishes during touristy visit.
Portion was decent, service ok ... just have to dive into & stuff face with these comfort foods. Indulge & must eat guilt free since this platter alone is 1000 calories minimum.
Amazing restaurant. First time eating poutine it was so good & delicious its the first dish I finish first before eating the burger. The beer that they recommended hit the spot when eating the burger. When I come back to Montreal I'll be coming back for more.
It's on the second floor & might be missed walking down St Paul street. Inside is nice, a bit rustic but you can view the street down below if you're seated near the windows. Poutine is one of the best I've had around & really enjoyed it, beers were also good, really a shame that they don't serve tap water & the small bottle of water costs 4$, only place in a Montreal where I didn't get served free water, funny that it comes with ice cubes in the glass so clearly there are no problems with the tap :) . I'd drop this practice since is really not worth the bad reviews, poutine were great, maybe a couple of dollars too expensive considering that you pay for everything. Will come back but I'll have to maybe sneak in my own water.
We came just for drinks & we had blast. Chic & boho place. Good beer & Aperol. They made accommodations for us to stay past the time.
Great food, amazing selection of poutine & beers. The potine with Smoked meat is to die for. Great service.
Got a beer & the Poutine. Poutine was very delicious! The gravy was overflowing from the sides though so it does get messy!.
Great outside seating area, the poutine with smoked meats was awesome & beer was perfect with it.
By sheer coincidence, we stumbled upon this poutine restaurant (which also serves alcohol). While wandering in Old Montreal, we decided to take a break here. We ordered two beers & a poutine to share, & it was absolutely delicious! The fries, coated in gravy, remained crispy, & combined with the cheese curds, it was divine. The service was also excellent; everyone was prompt & friendly. I believe they deserve even higher praise for their food & service. However, the beer prices might be a tad high, but still manageable. I'll definitely come back next time I'm in Montreal.
Beautiful place to have your first poutine experience. Not many gluten-free options, but our waitress was beyond kind & suggested their fried onion poutine without gravy, & we were incredibly satisfied! Creative, caring, & delicious. Oh, & amazing locally brewed beer! Will return!
It wasn't busy, we got good service. They have pitcher of beer to share with group
