**Location & Atmosphere:** The restaurant is conveniently located near Old Port & typically has minimal wait times. You can choose to dine on the terrace/open area, or indoors. **Food Quality & Pricing:** The food quality is average. The poutine is overly salty to my taste(this is my personal opinion some might find it normal), & the portion sizes are modest for the price. **Water Policy:** A significant drawback is that the restaurant does not offer regular tap water; instead, customers are required to purchase bottled water. This is quite unusual & inconvenient compared to other restaurants in Canada. **Overall Experience:** Despite this issue, it remains a decent option if you're in Old Port & want a hassle-free spot for poutine.
Guys this is the only place in Montréal where you need to pay for water. Cheapest owner in Mtl 😂 at least you made me laugh, thank you.
Great place in old town Montréal for some tasty Poutine! Nicely sized portions & interesting variations on the provincial Québecois classic. Other offerings also available who do not wish to order Poutine! Nice interior courtyard setting!
Everything was great! Great atmosphere, excellent poutine. They even charged my phone! Not high end but just perfect for poutine!
They refused to serve tap water, something like that never happened to me before in Montreal. Food also had no taste. Waitress & atmosphere were good
Love this place every time Iam in Montreal. If you can get a dining spot in the court yard in the summer I highly recommend. Priced well especially for downtown
NO TAP WATER served, shame on the owners, this is supposed to be a family restaurant, not a high end bar I should have read the reviews carefully, I didn't think poutine would be at risk of tasting bland or a shop specializing in it would turn out a poor version. FRIED onions apparently means wet onions as per my picture. The Montreal smoked meat sandwich looked pathetic, I could put out a better version getting my ingredients from Safeway in BC... I'd be okay with all this if the prices were cheap but they're definitely not especially when it's $4 for a 500ml of Esker water.
We enjoyed our meals, big portions. Stairs are steep from street entrance. Otherwise ok.
Quick stop for drinks. Great cocktails, very friendly waitress, & nice indoor terrace.
Un resto au top je recommande, personnel agréable, rapidement service, nickel. Seul bémol d'autres clients vraiment bruyant comme s'il étaient dans leurs salon, seuls. Mais indépendant de la volonté du resto. Je recommande
First order of business when in Montreal. Because it's pouring & there's no line here, & it's poutine. To our surprise, the food came out delicious & full of flavors (not sure why the rating is low). Service was quick & the servers were very helpful with their recommendations & friendly. We ordered two: smoked meat sandwich which has the right amount of seasonings & saltiness & fried chicken poutine. They're both yum & delicious!
Small poutine restaurant on the second floor, the poutine tastes so delicious.
Great food, amazing selection of poutine & beers. The potine with Smoked meat is to die for. Great service.
Limited menu choices but if you are in the mood for good poutine, this is the place to try.
Got a beer & the Poutine. Poutine was very delicious! The gravy was overflowing from the sides though so it does get messy!.
