Afficher toutpoutine(298) smoked meat(45) drink(29) recommend(26) hot dog(22) fries(20) gravy(20) sandwich(17) chicken(16) terrasse(15) quick(15) cheese(14)We visited this restaurant for the first time in 2018 & since then we come there every time we visit Montreal, meaning several times a year. I have never been disappointed with their poutine & cocktails. The atmosphere is very nice too. Especially, in summer, on the terrace. They add seasonal options to the cocktail list every season.
We dined at Montréal poutine & enjoyed our food & experience very much! The poutine was delicious & so was the garden salad with grilled chicken. The waitstaff was very friendly!
Finally found a great poutine in Canada after a few fails & it was worth the wait. Really recommend.
It's on the second floor & might be missed walking down St Paul street. Inside is nice, a bit rustic but you can view the street down below if you're seated near the windows. Poutine is one of the best I've had around & really enjoyed it, beers were also good, really a shame that they don't serve tap water & the small bottle of water costs 4$, only place in a Montreal where I didn't get served free water, funny that it comes with ice cubes in the glass so clearly there are no problems with the tap :) . I'd drop this practice since is really not worth the bad reviews, poutine were great, maybe a couple of dollars too expensive considering that you pay for everything. Will come back but I'll have to maybe sneak in my own water.
Yum yum yum. Service was great, the poutine options were great, bathrooms were clean & the drinks were cold. Was an excellent place to split some poutine & warm up from the cool outside. Just a few steps from the road to get an Uber.
Very good food on a very cool street. The server gave advice on what we should order & it was perfect. The poutine is phenomenal & the place to go for the iconic staple of Montreal.
Bonjour!
adorable place - just what we needed after walking around on a very cold day. We had 2 poutines - 1 original & 1 Bolognese - which we thought would be odd, but absolutely delicious. We were in no rush - service is laid back but very sweet servers. We loved it & would say it's a perfect spot for a midday snack (meal.)
The staff were great, the view over St. Paul was great, the food was made quick, the price was reasonable, & the smoked meat poutine was great!
Poutines très généreuses ! Mention spéciale pour la smoked meat. La salade César est aussi très bonne. Service sympa & rapide.
Wanted to try a poutine before we had to go back home & this looked like a great spot to try out. The staff was friendly & accommodating. We had a nice table by the window & watched people walking by. The hot dog was tiny but perfect for a little snack, enjoyed the poutine & the chicken tenders were nicely done.
Pros: Our stay in Montreal was short, but out of all the poutines we tried, we loved the smoked meat poutine here the most! Cons: They do not offer water & charge you $4 for a bottle. Plus, service was pretty much non-existent.
MTP has great potential. It's a cool space upstairs with a perfect view at the windows for people watching. Their smoked meats poutine tastes good & comes in large portions. The staff couldn't be more disinterested if they tried. They stand around the entire time doing nothing & I had to stare them down to get them to come over & take my order. You won't see them ever again until you catch them walking by. I gave 4 stars because they charge $4 for a cheap & small bottle of water. No tap water available.
Nice place to have poutine. Price is a bit on the higher side, but understandable with the location. If you are not on a budget, it is worth considering this one.
Had a great time at Montreal poutine with our server Antoine! He was very funny, friendly & accommodating! Our food took long because of a mixup & he came & apologized & shared a great laugh with us! Made the wait go smoothly. Thank you!!
