Love Mon Village! The service is always top notch, the food is tasty, & the atmosphere is cozy. We recommend their fish & chips, hamburger steak, Reuben sandwich, & prime rib. Their fries are also my favourite!
Excellent restaurant. Une belle ambiance rustique dans une vielle maison de campagne. Un service à la hauteur de leurs renommée. Le choix de mets y est variés (grillades, fruits de mer, pâte, soupe, salade & dessert) & tous y est succulent! Il y a une section pub, une section salle à manger & une sublime terrasse au jardin. Je recommande vivement autant en groupe qu'en tête-à-tête !

I have been to this restaurant for years. My boyfriend & I make a point to go once every month because we love it so much. We have had many things on the menu, from the huntclub steak, the Mon village steak, the prime rib, filet melt, penne marscapone with chicken, cheesecake, etc. Everything has always been delicious & served to our liking. The waiters & waitresses are incredibly friendly & pleasant. We had Mike as our waiter yesterday & he was particularly great! We had a reservation at 7:30pm but had a small emergency & had to return home. We called & let them know that we wouldn't make it before 7:50pm (last call for ordering food as kitchen closed at 8pm). They were very understanding & Mike, our waiter, said he would tell the kitchen they would be getting an order a little later than usual today & that it was no problem. We were so thankful! We always recommend this restaurant to friends & family, & everyone who tries it loves it. Highly recommended!
Well, I had read enough reviews & post living in the area well over 25 years we finally made our way to Mon Village tonight. Sitting at 7:30, restaurant not overly busy. Service for anything took forever. Water not being replenished & having to ask for it. Meat was great, Indian dish not great but not bad. By 9:30 we finally ended up getting the desserts menu... We sat there looking at the waiter talking the other table off so much so that another waitress ended up taking our order. We wanted to take the dessert home but waiter was still talking to the other table. I ended having to go the other side to have it wrapped so we could leave. I feel the restaurant is great, had we had a waiter wait on us would have made the experience different but it is what it is... Certainly makes me question going back.
Went here tonight for the first time. Hopefully won't be the last, since we don't live near. First of all, there's the setting, a beautiful rustic former farm homestead with lots of nooks & crannies to satisfy any event, whether it's an intimate dinner for two or a group dinner. Then there's the food...oh my, so good! Prime rib was amazing! Last but not least was the service. Willhem was just the best! Perfect service...friendly & knowledgeable without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place! Can't wait to go back when we are in the area again.
Stop there by 3pm for a quick lunch & what a surprise! we stayed until 5pm, everything was so good & the atmosphere was wonderful & quit, I do suggest to everyone who mist what a great place is supposed to be to go there, we will be back anytime for sure! Thank's Mon Village!!!!
We have been enjoying this place for over 40 years, love the food & atmosphere, live further away now but still go when in the area, just don't understand why the restrooms have not been updated in 40 years 😝 they are in desperate need of an update. But still love the place!
Pour la St-Valentin, j'ai été souper avec ma conjointe, super service de Jessica, super ambiance, super repas. Une place que je conseil à tous, une cuisson de votre steak à la perfection, cuisson au charbon, plusieurs section séparer qui vous procure un sentiment d'intimité, les prix sont plus que raisonnable. Vraiment une expérience 5 étoiles, je vais y retourner à plusieurs reprise
