Wow what a gem this place is. First off, the server Betty was so welcoming & funny. Then the canto food was amazing. Not enough people know about this place. Food was soooo fast, but so fresh too. We ate family style which is the best to eat at a restaurant. We ordered hot & sour soup, Mongolian beef, sweet & sour pork, shrimp fried rice, soup dumplings & black bean beef. Very reasonably priced! Shared between 6 people & worked out to be 22.50$ a person including tip! All were delicious. The fried rice had a beautiful smokiness from the wok. But the star of the show was the Mongolian beef. Perfectly crispy with the perfect about of sauce. Highly recommend & we will definitely be back when we visit Montreal again.

While being an unplanned guest at the CHUM hospital during my partners brain surgery, I stumbled upon this lovely gem. They're open on the weekends for lunch, otherwise it's dinner only from 4 pm. The place is lovely, staff very polite, food delicious. & I'm not just saying that because I've been eating hospital cafeteria food! 😅 It really is worth taking a walk over.
The food was delicious. Staff was super nice & accommodating to our children & had great food recommendations for us. Definitely recommend if you are in the area & overwhelmed by all the choice

By far the best Chinese restaurant in town! Not only the food is delicious, but the owners are awesome & accommodating, the cooking is authentic & high quality. Definitely recommend this place as it is my go to🙌🏼✌🏼

Merci Betty pour ton excellent service, ton sens de l'humour & ta joie de vivre. Notre soirée au Mon Nam à été un succès grave à toi mais sans oublier l'excellente nourriture. On va se revoir bientôt pour une autre soirée extraordinaire.
Belle découvertes que nous avons eu 😍. Un des meilleurs resto chinois que j'ai manger. La nourriture étais vraiment excellente 🤤, mais que dire du service de feu que nous avons eu avec Betty 😍. Pour vrais elle a fait notre soirée ❤️ grâce à elle notre expérience à été plus que agréable ❤️. C'est sur que nous allons y retourner & faire découvrir cette merveilleuse place à d'autre ami 🥰.
I highly recommend Restaurant Mon Nan to anyone who enjoys delicious Asian food at a reasonable price! They did not hesitate to accommodate a last-minute reservation request for our group of 19, & made sure we were all well taken care of. The restaurant's dining area features larger round tables with a central lazy-Susan to facilitate conversation & meal-sharing. Betty was our server, & she handled our large, diverse group with grace & professionalism. If you are ever in the area, please check this place out - you will not be disappointed!
Very unpleasant attitude from the servers. Walked in & tried to catch their attention & was ignored for a while before they finally responded. Server kept slamming things on the table. Also, was forced to tip. Not sure if this is the norm in Montreal as it is my first night here. Food was nice, but it was not a pleasant dining experience.
Après avoir essayé plusieurs restos dans le quartier chinois, ma famille & moi nous retournons toujours au Mon Nan! La bouffe est très bonne & le service aussi. Après tant d'années nous sommes toujours aussi satisfaits lorsque nous allons. Très recommandé. :)
