If I'm paying for expensive bread, I'd love to have the option to get it sliced.
What a nice people... you can tell that the love they work. Pretty girls in front house & handsome guys in the back.... plus the bread is amazing 👏. Congrats, guys.
No slicing , no sandwiches after 3. All these silly policies. Bread is not bad.
Fantastic sandwiches, quite large size. The bread is obviously incredible but the rest of the ingredients are also delicious
Just moved back from Toronto where we had the best ever sourdough bakery (Black Bird) & we're hoping we could get something close enough. I was very excited to discover Miette which is a stone throw from our new place not only taste just as good but the density of the bread slightly better than BB. I'm not overly upset about the non slicing. Imperfect slices makes it more authentic & artsy sandwiches:-) This bread is A M A Z I N G!!! Staff was friendly when I went so my experience thus far is good on that regard. I wish they opened their doors at 6 am though but that's my only not even a negative. Grateful to have this place in our neighborhood.
Amazing bread definitely next level. If you are near the area do yourself a favour & call in. The olive & walnut is to die for.
Great bread. As others noted, I don't understand the no slicing policy. At this price point it should be an option to those who want it sliced at the time of purchase. Doing it at home just doesn't come out the same! Also they run out quickly, I came to the store twice & at 1 pm they were out of the Olive walnut...
Love love love everything about this place, especially their sourdough bread. It's so delicious.
From the moment you enter this boulangerie, you know that you will be eating the best bread in Montreal. They also offer daily specials/sandwiches to be enjoyed at the tables in front or walk to the canal & enjoy a picnic. I had the tuna sandwich & it was decadent. Also purchased the nut & olive bread, all breads are sourdough bread & very high quality ingredients. A must if in the neighborhood!
Best sourdough bread in town! Highly recommended. One thing I would like them to improve is not serving the breads with their bare hands.
Olive & nut loaf was over the top , awesome taste great density. Classic loaf did not disappoint great taste. Person that serve me was very friendly, highly recommend this place for all your sourdough bread. Thank you
Maybe it's because I'm cleaning my ring. I don't know but my fiancé of 3 years & I went to purchase a simple Turkey sandwich & loaves of bread. While sitting waiting we had a dessert to support the economy. The short woman with the long braid. I would assume is the manager or owner said the the server loud enough for us to hear " get the sugar daddy out of here " & we are not only offended ( I mean hey I guess I look younger than I am ... being 30.. & my husband 54 with his birthday yesterday... he was so upset he stumbled his chair trying to leave as fast as we could possibly once we received our sandwich. I had to leave a review about it. It really hurt my feelings & our drive home. Tbh screw this place & who ever the short girl in the braid is... horrible looking woman inside & out.
Really great bread - that is undeniable! However, they don't slice it for you. I hate hack-job slices. So, I won't be going back until they run their loaves through a sliver for customers. Especially at the price they're charging. & yes, of course, they turn the iPad around for a tip. Workers deserve fair wages!! (Miette could learn a few things from Fry's in Victoria)
I enjoy their sourdough bread but for such a specific niche of a store I think many folks would appreciate if they would invest in a slicer & it would attract alot more people as the breads are good.
I love their sourdough bread. It is a bit expensive, especially since they can't cut & slice the bread for you which is difficult at home if you want nice even slices. I think they really need to change that.
