Mezzmiz is a haven for fresh, authentic Lebanese flavors with a focus on mezze and bowls, delivering high quality ingredients and generous portions that many reviews describe as satisfying and often standout like hummus, muhammara, fattoush, falafel, shawarma bowls, and chicken wraps. The atmosphere is described as cool, casual, and lively, with friendly, attentive service that makes guests feel welcome and well guided through the menu. Diners repeatedly praise the consistent quality and variety, noting that the food feels healthy, flavorful and reasonably priced for the level of quality, though a few comments mention prices being a bit high for some items or portions. The branding and space design are praised as well, with a modern yet warm Lebanese vibe. Occasional concerns include bread quality, noise level in busy times, and occasional missteps with sauces or allergy requests, but these do not overshadow overall impressions of a reliable, delicious, and friendly spot that many plan to return to in Montreal.
Hands down the best Lebanese food I've ever had. I come here everytime I'm in Montreal. Delicious & great quality ingredients. Tasty is an understatement.
Great authentic Lebanese food in a casual style & affordable prices.
The staff is very friendly. Shout out to Hoda for a great welcome.
Habibi Lebnen :)
I'm Lebanese, food was good but excuse me, $25 (including 15% tips) for a ayran ($5??) & a shish taouk sandwich is NOT ok. My friend's plate was good too but really tiny & expensive ($31???), that is also not ok. I would come back if things were much cheaper, but these prices are absolutely out of range for most people, sorry.
REPLY: $14 for a shish taouk 2 years ago is still outrageous. You know how much shish taouk costs in Lebanon, transpose that here…
Tried the chicken & beef bowl & it was excellent! The meat was tender, well-seasoned, & full of authentic Lebanese flavors. Portions were generous, everything tasted fresh, & the balance of spices was just right. Very satisfying meal - would definitely order again.
Yesterday, I had the chance to discover a new venue that serves delicious Lebanese cuisine. Mezzmiz is minutes away from our new office, a little up on Crescent Street, north of Ste-Catherine (that's towards Sherbrooke). To say it was good isn't doing it justice. A rainbow of flavours & texture, wrapped in a quaint ambiance. Definitely going back soon!
We loved the hummus here! We ordered here two nights in a row to enjoy the hummus & other Lebanese dishes. Collectively we enjoyed the hummus, Za'atar bread, tabboulé salad, kibbeh, falafel, chicken tomb pickles wrap, lemon confit chicken, & mouhalabeye pudding.
Everything was yummy & we will likely come back here again next time we are in Montreal.
We ordered the four-item mix plate with potatoes, hummus, tabbouli, & falafel. The taste, portions, & presentation were all very good for the price. Service was friendly & attentive, which added to the experience.
The only area for improvement was the bread. We received plain white pita instead of the type pictured on the menu, & it wasn't fresh or warm. Fresh, warm pita would really elevate the meal.
Overall, I recommend this Lebanese restaurant & would happily come back.
Delicious beef shawarma & the potatoes were amazing, & that garlic sauce WOW! Waleed at the cash was awesome & very genuine. Will come back when visiting downtown Montreal & I recommend it for others to come have delicious Lebanese food

By far one of the best if not the best restaurants I've been to in Montreal. If you're looking for amazing food, great vibes & the admirable Lebanese hospitality- this place is for you!
So while visiting Montreal found this little amazing lebanese restaurant had to go in & try. The food was delicious the service exceptional & Walem (if that's how he spells his name) was so friendly! Would definitely recommend.

Absolutely phenomenal experience at Mezzmiz!
From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warm hospitality & a cozy, elegant ambiance that set the tone for a perfect evening. The food was nothing short of spectacular - fresh, authentic Lebanese flavors that reminded me of home. Every dish, from the perfectly spiced kebabs to the creamy hummus & crispy falafel, was prepared with care & beautifully presented.
The service was impeccable. Our server was friendly, knowledgeable, & made great recommendations. The cocktail & wine selection also complemented the meal wonderfully.
Whether you're familiar with Lebanese cuisine or trying it for the first time, Mezzmiz is a must-visit. I'll definitely be coming back - highly recommended!
Absolutely delicious experience at Mezzmiz!
We ordered the 4 Mezza Tray (Fatteh) & the Mezzwich (Poulet, Toum, Cornichons)), both were fantastic.
The hummus was incredibly creamy & flavorful, the chicken in the Mezzwich was really good & well-seasoned, & the fatteh was perfectly balanced.
Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic Lebanese street food with great taste & quality.
Will definitely be back!
If you're looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine served with warmth & generosity, Mezzmiz is the place to go. Located in a cozy, welcoming space, Mazmiz offers a true taste of Lebanon - from fresh mezze to perfectly grilled meats.
Super tasty, fresh & nutritious Lebanese food in the center of the city.
Feels pretty authentic to me. I've lived years in the Middle East & the taste here is as close as can be, in my opinion.
I guess one of the differences would be that food in Lebanon would be served on plates whereas here, they've adapted the Asian concept of bowls, which allows them to serve very generous portions.
Excellent Toum with the chicken dishes, both as a bowl & a sandwich.
The staff is friendly & the place is spotless.
Only constructive criticism : they should do something about the noise echoing on the concrete ceiling as the place gets very noisy, since it's crowded.
Will be back, definitely.
