Thanks to Memento! for hosting our wedding weekend welcome drinks.
The communication & professionalism leading up to the event were great. The service during the event was excellent.
We got custom beer cans!
The ambiance was so fun & whimsical.
& it goes without saying that the beer was excellent.
Thank you, Memento! !View more
The beer, the people, the atmosphere was awesome 🍺💛✨View more
Great beer but there's always a overwhelmingly strong smell of sewage that permeates the baView more
I haven't tried many dishes here, but tried a few different types of beer - probably the best craft beer you can find in Montreal.
Try habanero or honey one.View more
AMAZING PLACE! I couldn't believe the games (like ping pong & darts) were free! With all the great beers & tasty food (borcht), it was really hard to leave the Brasserie. It's definitely a unique place with a great vibe! I totally recommend it to everyone.View more
So I'm the kind of person that loves to play games… so this place is the ideal for me. It's got games, artesanal beer & the food smells delicious (didn't had the chance to try it). Totally recommended it if you want to have a nice time playing pimpón or board games.View more

- Good beer
It's been a mixed bag at this establishment for me, leaning toward the negative. Being somewhat of a nerd, though less the consumerist Star Wars kind, who lives a 15 minute walk away, I was intrigued by a place that seemed to cater to gaming nerds & perhaps weird people who liked quality microbrewed beer & so forth. I had a lovely date night there once. I also was turned away for having a baby once, turned away because the place was rented out for a corporate event once with no notice online or outside signage etc., &, recently, kicked out due to the place being rented for another corporate event (although I knew I would be -- though it took 2 weeks of waiting for replies by phone, email, or Facebook text to find out. When I finally got a reply, the person replying was professional). This time, my group had a lovely experience overall, but that was mostly due to us trying to have fun, & the experience could have been much better. One of the serving staff, a woman with dark hair & small tattoos, was quite rude to a number of us, telling one of us she couldn't come in even though the corporate event didn't start for another 1.5 hours, & when several of us tried to talk to her she was rude & unfriendly with us. I got the impression we were not welcome & that she was mad we were there, perhaps due to communication issues between staff... The gentleman at the bar in the blue shirt was nice, accommodating & honest -- though he did say we would have to leave by 6:00 - 6:30 instead of the previously mentioned 5:30 or 6:00 which I communicated to my group, only to have another server clap his hands at our group & tell us to leave at 6 -- again, unclear communication, shoddy service in terms of this other staff member, & the feeling of being unwelcome.
Anyway, I think Memento is a cool place with lots of elements in place to be great, but it kind of has a hollow core somewhat reflective of the surrounding condo developments, where I've never really felt welcome & there is much to work on in terms of communication, updating websites & pages, service quality & so on -- especially when paying $13 something (tax, minimum suggested tip) for a'pint' of beer. I think Memento should decide who their clients are: corporate people with lots of money, relatively-wealthy condo people, tourists, or regular people/everyone, & be more honest & better at communicating this overall, as well as work on the various problems they have while allowing their good qualities to shine. **I did not have food this time, but the one time I did I found it tasty if a bit small on portion size for the price.View more
This place is a blast with fantastic staff who were lifesavers, kindly holding onto my bag that I forgot there after I got a little too enthusiastic about their awesome brews. Seriously, go for the great beer, food & games! Really recommend. Thank you 🙏View more
More vegan options would be great. Really nice vibe, staff were nice & the beer was solid. I'd like a wider range of IPA's but I'm sure this changes over time. Some vegan options & then this place is 5/5 🙏🙏View more
Great location directly at the canal Lachine. Really nice beers as well of course.View more
Memento was such a great experience. I went there with my friends on an odd Monday evening & was immediately impressed by the atmosphere. There were art pieces everywhere & all sorts of games.
The service was amazing. I'm not the biggest fan of beer, but the bartender was very patient & recommended drinks that she thought I'd like. I ended up with a cider & called it a night.
Since we came in using our MTL Passports, we were offered two drinks & a choice of a charcuterie board or a cheese board. Both boards were delicious. There were grapes & jams & toasted baguettes. It was so filling.
Overall, I see myself coming here again. It was a lot of fun & definitely was a great way to start the week.View more
The food is amazing! All types of beer, especially for people who drink alcohol free (like myself). Lovely cozy ambiance. My destination when I am in Montréal.View more
This was a great little spot to enjoy some games with friends, & a nice ambiance. It's not too far from the water, so in the summer would be a wonderful place to go & walk along the riverside.
Will def go back to enjoy some more craft beers & would recommend it to anyone.View more
You can come here & play ping pong or darts or cards & drink their fine beer & look at the great decor. It is all for you. Right by the canal. Really lovely location.View more
The place has a great selection of craft beers, good food & an amazing & friendly staff, but what truly elevates Memento over other pubs / bars is the phenomenal ambiance & decore.
The space is devided in a way that each section gives off a completely different vibe, has a different aesthetic & offer different types of games.
Lots of board games to chose from, some retro arcades, photo booth, ping pong tables & dart boards available for everyone, & the best part, they are all free to play.
We will be back for sure!View more
Great vibes, nice beers cool atmosphere with lots of gamesView more
The beer selection is great, lots of interesting choices. They make a very tasty espresso Martini. The chicken burger is good. The decor & arcade is cool & the vibe is quite fun.View more
We saw the neon sign that says "Stay Weird," & we knew it would be a good time right away. They have a great menu of artisanal beers, creative cocktails, & delicious pub food. & games, a lot of games. Play ping pong, foosball, & darts with your friends, or arcade games like Street Fighter & Mortal Kombat. You can also take cute pictures together in the photo booth. We love how much fun it is here & we will definitely be back!View more
The waitress looked like a white rabbit as well so 5 stars just for that Food arrived quicker than the beer which was impressive Lots of matrix references even the sugar was called neo something Green stuff on ceiling was nice Lots of posh old people judging everything which I likeView more
Memento Brewery offers a great variety of beers that I'd recommend trying, though they're not exactly top-notch. The cocktails, unfortunately, aren't worth it. While they do have food platters that are decent, this isn't the place to go if you're looking for a full dining experience. What really makes Memento special is the atmosphere-it's perfect for hanging out with friends, playing games, or even hosting a small party. Occasionally, they do barbecues, which are a nice touch, though the taste doesn't quite hit the mark. Parking is available, & the terrace with a smoking area adds to the charm. It's a fun spot if you're after a laid-back vibe & some casual fun!View more
Great location, great beer & food, awesome owners! Def stop by if you are in the area 🍻View more
Great little spot for beer! Loved their Habanero beer! I wasn't a fan of the food overall (nothing bad, just nothing wow), but will be back often for beer & parties!View more
