A great atmosphere Irish pub. They have on the menu - unfortunately, only on the menu anymore - a challenge for their Guineiniss record book hot wings. Dear management: please, either make it worth it & give some reward for the challenge or remove the challenge from the menu.
Anyways, the Guinness record book hot wings were really good. Very hot spicy, but tasty spicy & good too. I'd highly recommend trying it. They have live music during the evening.View more
Got short changed 10$. Was not impressed at all. Although while observing the bar, I was very pleased to see their wide selection of available
Spirits. Waiter who served me could have been a lot more friendly, rush hour or not, every customer deserves to feel like they should come back. Just makes me.wonder how many other intoxicated individuals got short changed by him...the live music was great thoughView more
Great atmosphere for drinks with colleagues & friends!! Service is so friendly & the music is perfect (80s & 90s alternative)View more
A local's favourite. Can't go wrong with a night out here. Good music, food, people... All around great spot.View more
Nice irish pub, live music can be hit or miss, friendly staff. Good place to hang out with friends.View more

I loved it! The live music was really good on Friday night. Amazing service from the bar. Special thanks to Nyssa!View more
Love it! Cozy place, nice music, perfect food & drinks, & the most important thing, stuffs are super! & our pretty Australian waitress Greta (if I am not wrong in spelling!) was very kind & open & friendly ❤?Strongly recommended!View more
ALways good to drink a beer at a Irish pub my kind place its all normal ppl & no douch bags or Barbie girls & the drinks are good if you like red beers black browns like me...we visted it other day stopped in at first was soso cus hockey game but after music & all was cool..a bit on the $$ side the beers some..but thats mtl..View more
The live music is great but 12$ a pint of beer is pricey in my opinion. Very friendly staff. Cool place to hangout, & definitely draws in tourists.View more
It's a really good place to spend your time. Live music, good beer & a great atmosphere.View more
Loved it. Live music & very economical prices for food & drinksView more
Our favorite bar in Montreal. Such a good vibe, the staff is always kind, & the live music is so fun.View more
Excellent food! It wasn't live music... it was karaokeView more
Amazing food & ambience!! Live music, great wings & fries, rusty decor & amazingly courteous staff! Would definitely recommend & visit againView more
Good fish & chips, great service & atmosphere. They usually have live music too & it's usually packed when there's a game on. The wings disappointed me but their Buffalo hot sauce itself was pretty good!View more
My friends & I always seem to end up at Mckibbins & it rly never fails. The best vibe with live music & a fun atmosphere. THE place to go with your homies for a drink, a dance or to watch a game. Couldn't recommend enough.View more
Great service. Our waitress was anglophone & was trying her best to speak french. It was great. We wanted to support her effort instead of stopping her by letting her know we were fluent in englisb. She was a lovely waitress. Food was great, kidney pie wasn't my favourite but the bangers & mash was really good. Great ambiance, & live music.View more
Typical pub, fries are good but some places are better. Big beer selection & friendly bartenders. Informal Irish music on Sunday that was a delight - players just started showing up & jamming!View more
nice pub, the music is good, the accomodation is roomy & the prices are fair, would come back, unfortunately didn't try the foodView more
Service was great & I dig the atmosphere. My friends said that the drinks were tasty, though weak. The sweet potato fries seemed a bit pricey, but they were ok. Sadly got there for the late night menu so a lot of the menu is off limits except the deep fried items. Live music was great & at the perfect volume to chat with friends.View more
The atmosphere is nice, but we were expecting to listen to some music, not to watch a hockey game. The waiter was pretty attentive, & the prices were fair. I'd come back.View more
Amazing. Most authentic Irish experience ever. Lots of beer flowing, leprechauns dancing & potatoes. Amazing atmosphere. Frequent live music, & the performers are drunker than you are. Wnderful!!!!!!!View more
I've been to both the Bishop location many time & have now been to this (St-Laurent) location several times too. The food doesn't seem to be as good as at the Bishop location. The standard fare (savoury pies, burgers, fish & chips, wings, etc.) is decent enough but some items on the menu fall short.
The last time I was there I ordered the chowder. Waitress said it was 'amazing' & highly recommended it. It was awful. Not hot enough, tasted sour & a little 'off', seafood was rubbery(frozen perhaps?), texture was lumpy & suggested too much flour/starch was used.
I barely touched it - informed the waitress is wasn't very good. No apology or offer to replay or compensate in any way.
So in general, it's a fun atmosphere, plenty of tv screen for watching the game, sometimes the live music is quite good, decent beer selection.
