Super disappointing. I used to really enjoy coming to this pub, but tonight was a big disappointment. My burger & fries were flavourful, as usual. But they were served lucwarm, by staff who really couldn't care less. No checking in to see how I was enjoying it or if I needed anything.
Which brings me to the staff. The place was quiet, not surprising for a Sunday evening. But the staff seemed more interested in chatting & looking at their phones than tending to their few customers. It took the staff about 20 minutes to clear my empty pint glass & I basically needed to send up a flare to get another pint.
While this used to be my favourite traditional pub in Montreal, it has a lot of improving to do to make it back into my list.View more
Maybe best Irish pub food I've had. I had the beyond beef veggie burger & it was great. Only knock was the fries weren't great. Service was excellent.View more
Amazing staff, amazing food. Little pricey. Watch when you order bison meat. The bison burger I believe 26 Canadian collarsView more

Traditional Irish pub atmosphere with lots of beers on tap. We shared the bison burger & fish tacos, both were delicious. Service was great, & fast! would recommendView more
I love this pub & the one on Bishop Street, but unfortunately, I do not recommend their grilled vegetable salad. None of the ingredients went well together, & for $22 (I added chicken), I'd go with the burger ! My friends got burgers, chicken wings & the poutine & they all really loved their food. The drinks were good, & the service was slow (understandable on a Friday evening). Will definitely come back!View more
Nice & fun place too watch a hockey game....food is pretty good for a pub. Try the burger or fish & chips.
I've been to both the Bishop location many time & have now been to this (St-Laurent) location several times too. The food doesn't seem to be as good as at the Bishop location. The standard fare (savoury pies, burgers, fish & chips, wings, etc.) is decent enough but some items on the menu fall short.
The last time I was there I ordered the chowder. Waitress said it was 'amazing' & highly recommended it. It was awful. Not hot enough, tasted sour & a little 'off', seafood was rubbery(frozen perhaps?), texture was lumpy & suggested too much flour/starch was used.
I barely touched it - informed the waitress is wasn't very good. No apology or offer to replay or compensate in any way.
So in general, it's a fun atmosphere, plenty of tv screen for watching the game, sometimes the live music is quite good, decent beer selection.
