Got short changed 10$. Was not impressed at all. Although while observing the bar, I was very pleased to see their wide selection of available
Spirits. Waiter who served me could have been a lot more friendly, rush hour or not, every customer deserves to feel like they should come back. Just makes me.wonder how many other intoxicated individuals got short changed by him...the live music was great thoughView more
Nice atmosphere & good beer. I like this bar But unfortunately food wasn't really goodView more
The Journey of a Beer
This is a short story on the tipping culture in Canada, & the extreme entitlement it creates.
Deep in the heart of golden barley fields, a farmer rises at dawn. His hands are rough from years of toil, but he takes pride in his work. He nurtures the crops, battles the elements, & harvests each grain with care. He loads the barley onto a truck, never once thinking to ask for a tip.
At the malting house, workers soak, germinate, & roast the barley, transforming it into the foundation of a great beer. The air is thick with the scent of caramelized grains. They shovel, they sweat, they perfect their craft-no tip jar in sight.
The malt travels to the brewery, where brewers measure it carefully, mixing it with water, hops, & yeast. Steam rises as they brew, tasting & adjusting, ensuring perfection. Fermentation begins, weeks pass, & they watch over the beer like devoted parents. Not one of them asks for extra cash.
Bottlers & keggers work tirelessly, sealing the liquid gold into glass & metal. Truck drivers haul the beer across cities & towns, navigating traffic & deadlines, all without demanding a gratuity.
Finally, the beer arrives at a bar.
A greasy, lazy bartender pulls a tap handle, filling a pint glass in seconds. With minimal effort, they place it on the counter, then look up with expectation, immediately bitching for a tip.
Meanwhile, the farmer, the maltster, the brewer, the packager, & the driver all carry on with their work-never once expecting a tip.
If you don't like your salary, take it up with your management & your government, little guy.
I don't owe you anything, if am feeling generous enough, I might tip, IF your service is exceptional.
Otherwise, stay quiet & do your job like the rest of us!View more
I loved it! The live music was really good on Friday night. Amazing service from the bar. Special thanks to Nyssa!View more

View more
I have complicated feelings about this bar. I've been here two times in two days, & former was horrible, but the latter was amazing LoL We were three in the first visir & only one of us order. Omg, it made them crazy. We asked for a water for the table, & they only brought a glass for my friend who ordered a beer. I mean, c'mon, such an non classy attitude. Anyways, the second one is good because I guess everyone ordered somethings to drink & eat. The atmosphere is good, prices are okay though.View more
La serveuse était très sympa. L'ambiance était très bonne pour la St Patrick. Le bar était archi pleinView more
I had bad experiences here in the past because of the "regulars" who were extremely annoying at the bar, but the food is really good & the servers are nice, great tunes being played by a local bard.View more
Good ambiance & chilled bar but just do not order the st-ambroise blond beer, it is horrible... Food was good but charged for an unwanted beer.
I enjoy the place but we habe to wait because their were no place to sit... So it was a bit ennoying.
The live band was pretty nice.
The food was good & tasty for bar food.
