The fish & chips was good. Nice & greasy & way too big of a portion. Pricing (to me) beats everything else. I'd pay twice this in Seattle for the same thing.View more
Went with my Daughter Saturday Afternoon good & fast Service we both had Fish& Chips definitely be backView more
Belle place pas trop cher. Le fish & chips est sublime! Ma seule réserve est sur la musique. Elle ne fitait pas tant avec l'ambiance d'un pub irlandais.View more
Toujours de service & de la bouffe de haute gamme!. Je me sens bien accueilli chaque fois que je vienne! Authentique! Fish & chips délicieux!View more
A great fish & chips place. I came here for lunch. My waitress was friendly. My fish & chip was really good. They used real French fries for their "chips", unlike several restaurants which used frozen fries. The only minor critiqued I would give this place is that they do not have a lunch menu. The prices are reasonable for a supper menu but for people who want to eat lunch it is a little pricey. For the fish & chips lover or Irish food this place is for you. 4 1/2 star for me.View more
Good fish & chips, great service & atmosphere. They usually have live music too & it's usually packed when there's a game on. The wings disappointed me but their Buffalo hot sauce itself was pretty good!View more
Great food, great service. The fish & chips were outstanding. The wait staff was super nice.View more
Traditional Irish pub atmosphere with lots of beers on tap. We shared the bison burger & fish tacos, both were delicious. Service was great, & fast! would recommendView more
C'est notre endroit de prédilection avant d'aller assister a une game des Allouettes pour prendre quelques bonnes bières & un repas fish & chip & autres, l'Irlande a Montréal. L'ambiance est cool, le service est bon. Place festive.
Nice & fun place too watch a hockey game....food is pretty good for a pub. Try the burger or fish & chips.
I've been to both the Bishop location many time & have now been to this (St-Laurent) location several times too. The food doesn't seem to be as good as at the Bishop location. The standard fare (savoury pies, burgers, fish & chips, wings, etc.) is decent enough but some items on the menu fall short.
The last time I was there I ordered the chowder. Waitress said it was 'amazing' & highly recommended it. It was awful. Not hot enough, tasted sour & a little 'off', seafood was rubbery(frozen perhaps?), texture was lumpy & suggested too much flour/starch was used.
I barely touched it - informed the waitress is wasn't very good. No apology or offer to replay or compensate in any way.
So in general, it's a fun atmosphere, plenty of tv screen for watching the game, sometimes the live music is quite good, decent beer selection.
