Best service I have ever experienced, Theo & Felix were incredible all night, they gave us shots on the house & were chatting with us the whole time, the food was absolutely delicious.

Lovely place with high ceiling & modern authentic set up. Octopus, fish, dips, roasted Potato were all outstanding. Lovely crew, greeter, & service was really warm & excellent. Highly recommended!
This place was amazing! The gentlemen at the front was so quick to seat us last night even though they were super busy. Very kind & welcoming! We came back the very next night bc I had tried everything but the desserts. Same warm welcome! The service both times was unmatched in the area. The waitress even reccomeded places for us to go dancing!
Beautiful restaurant with excellent food & service. We sampled much of the menu & there were no misses. One of the best meals we've had in a long time!
Great new restaurant in Old Port! We ordered the fried calami, potatoes & lamb chops. All the dishes were great & service was amazing too. My only feedback is that the lamb portion was small for the price, so I wouldn't consider it a shareable plate. Otherwise 10/10!

We had an amazing evening at Mati. It started out when the hostess answered some of our questions while we perused the menu from the sidewalk. Manager/Maître D', Theo was incredibly welcoming & helpful as well. Our waiter, Zack was excellent, in spite of this only being his second shift. The food & wine was excellent, the service impeccable, & topping it all off, we enjoyed a shot of house made digestif with Theo. Highly recommend the lamb chops, when offered, & don't miss the baklava ice cream for dessert! We will be back!

Ate dinner with my wife & two kids (7 & 11) Fantastic service. Felix was on top of things. & the manager was also very attentive, warm, & welcoming. The fish my family shared was delicious & the watermelon salad was one of the best dishes we'd had in a long time. They gave the kids complimentary baklava ice cream! I highly recommend this place.
1st night in Old Montreal, after trying out a few places, a bartender said he eats at Mati a lot. Excellent Greek food, not overdone. Cornish hen was fabulous along with the Mati salad. Service top notch, friendly, not overbearing. Will return.
Top notch service, a serious institution who doesn't take itself seriously but creamy feta, pulpo cooked to perfection & tender, finally a delicious restaurant in Old mtl that is not a tourist trap & serves delish Greek food! I'll go back for sure. We had outstanding service. So hospitable. Traditional Greek mom & pops recipes.
We had such a delicious meal tonight! Just happened to walk by with no reservations & they sat us immediately. Fantastic service & so delicious. They treated us like family.

Greek dining at its finest! The phenomenal, rich flavors of the pork chop & grilled octopus were only matched by the VIP service.Kudos to manager Theo for a job very well done!!
Great addition to the old port restaurant scene! Amazing service & interior. Absolutely loved the food, so fresh & tasty. - The watermelon salad is so fresh & needed on a summer night. Tatziki & oven baked potatoes are really good too. - The branzino was yummy & well seasoned. - The lamb neck melts in your mouth, must have if you like lamb. - Finally we adored the grilled octopus, the best one i tried in a long time. It was cooked perfectly & juicy. 10/10. I highly recommend the place.
