Don't miss the watermelon salad. Fantastic vine leaves & entrees. Quite loud so we sat at the bar in the back & had a wonderful time!

We had a wonderful evening dining at Taverne Grecque Mati. The service & hospitality was exceptional & the food was phenomenal. From the main course to the sides & appetizers, all of it was great. This was our favorite dining experience while visiting Montreal.

Bon restaurant un peu cher pour les quantités. L'ambiance est agréable. Je crois que le prix est justifié pour un restaurant dans le Vieux Montréal.

Tres sincèrement la nourriture est plutôt bonne, il y avait des choses qui sortait du lot comme le spanakopita par exemple. Malheureusement on est très loin de la générosité habituelle de la cuisine greque.
Ce que je trouve vraiment embêtant est le rapport quantité/prix qui n'est vraiment pas bon, comme souvent avec les restaurant de tapas, mais là cest vraiment poussé à son paroxysme.
Les feuilles de vignes sont par exemples minuscules, une d'entre elle avait littéralement moins d'une cuillère à café de riz !!!
Ce n'est pas à mon habitude de mettre des notes moyennes pour un restaurant où le goût était malgré tout bon, mais là on est clairement sur un combo'lieu se voulant branché / format tapas / lieu touristique' qui exacerbe la problématique.

De plus, il était difficile de parlé tant la musique est forte, même la serveuse a eu du mal a comprendre notre commande.

Tout était parfait! De l'ambiance au service en passant par la nourriture, tout était impeccable. La nourriture est très thématique & le fait que la grande majorité des plats soit fait pour être partager entre ami ou famille change beaucoup la dynamique. autour de la table. Pour le service, les serveurs(es) ont toutes été aimable envers notre groupe se qui, contribue au côté chaleureux du restaurant.

C'était bon, mais rien d'exceptionnel. Les portions étaient dans la moyenne basse & les plats assez classiques. Je ne comprends pas vraiment tous les avis 5 étoiles. Pour des européens habitués à la nourriture grecque, on peut dire que l'expérience reste ordinaire. Un peu cher pour ce que c'est. Nous avons attendu 20 minutes pour pouvoir payer. Merci quand même & bonne continuation.

One of the best dining experiences I've had in Montreal! Highly recommended. The food was outstanding, the atmosphere was amazing, & the service was exceptional. A special thank you to our waitress, Sophia H., who was extremely professional & knowledgeable. She guided us through the menu & recommended the best dishes, making our experience even more enjoyable. We will definitely be back!
