Nous sommes venus ce lundi pour un petit goûter rapide. Au menu : un chausson aux pommes, un gâteau au chocolat & trois petit beignets. La nourriture était très bonne & le service du monsieur impeccable.
Stopped by this neat place for some coffee because of a strawberries pie sign :) it turned out to be a fresh bakery with coffee, fresh pastries, pies & a few other sweet things. Great staff, very helpful & friendly. Both our cold & hot coffees were good, so we're the pastries. It's not a cafe per se, it has no proper seating, but I'd come back for the bread, it looks really good!

Stopped in for a late Sunday brunch a few days ago after hearing good things from a local, & Clafouti absolutely delivered. The croque-monsieur was textbook perfect, with just the right ratio of béchamel to ham, which is rarer than you'd think even in cities that should know better. The room has this warm, lived-in Parisian bistro feel that a lot of places try to fake but here it just happens naturally. Service was attentive without hovering, & the staff clearly knew the menu well enough to make solid recommendations without the usual hesitation.
Not against self service as a concept. But wow the system they implemented is bunk. Now I understand why the store was targeted during that protest. Not saying it's deserved, but the experience at this store is now bad. Scanned items not being found?! Brutal.
This is hands down my favorite bakery in the neighborhood!
Staff are friendly & helpful, all their baked goods are delicious, i've tried so many but my favorite is their pudding bread. Their almond chocolatine are very popular as well.
I purchased a strawberry pie from them & it was well loved! really a hit :)

C'est beau, c'est cher, & c'est mauvais !
Rien n'a de goût, du sucre en masse & rien d'autres ? Le flan n'est bon qu'à colmater les murs, & n'évoquons même pas le clafoutis, produit phare de la maison, dans lequel on se demande quel talent particulier il faut pour massacrer à ce point de simples cerises.
Bref, passez votre chemin !
Used to love this place. I work in AI, but it's just weird to see AI generated images as the main picture of a bakery's website, & a store with almost no humans.
Honte à vous d'encourager l'automatisation du quotidien de notre société & le capitalisme. Honte à vous d'encourager une forme de déshumanisation. Le boycott de votre commerce & de toute entreprise qui opte également pour le Scan & Go ne fait que commencer!
'm writing because I left your café today feeling genuinely disappointed & disrespected. I came in as a paying customer, bought food, & the moment I finished eating, a staff member told me I had to leave because I was taking up space for other customers.
I shouldn't have to explain why that's wrong. This is a sit-down coffee shop - people come here to spend time, not to be rushed out the door the second their plate is cleared. What made it worse was that it was clear this treatment was based on my age. I was treated as an inconvenience rather than a customer who had just given you my business.
A l'inverse des boulangeries pâtisseries françaises où on force les clients à piétiner en file indienne devant les vitrines alignées, on est libre ici de circuler comme on veut, où on veut. Je parie que les envies viennent plus larges & plus libres. & le service s'organise depuis l'îlot central, aussi pour les boissons. Choix remarquable, fraîcheur impeccable. Un endroit heureux
L'endroit est cute, le pain est bon. Par contre il est absolument ridicule de demander un pourboire dans une boulangerie. Dire « c'est pas obligatoire & la machine est de même! » c'est pas une réponse, en tant que commerce vous prenez la décision d'imposer ce fardeau décisionnel à vos clients & faites proliférer une culture de pourboire excessive.
Je viens ici depuis plusieurs années & je viens chercher mon pain comme d'habitude ce jeudi soir je n'ai jamais vue une commis aussi irrespecteuse agressive parle très mal au client elle me dit que je n'ai pas le droit de choisir mon pain & que je suis con je cite je ne reviendrais pas dans ce magasin dommage vous venez de perdre un excellent client.
Je ne comprend pas qu' une employé comme ça fasse du service a la clientèle en 10 ans de gestion & d'expérience je n'ai jamais vue ca la personne n'a rien à faire en service a la clientele elle devrais être renvoye
