Très belle visite dans cette boulangerie phare de la rue Saint-Denis ! Situé près des pistes cyclable & à 100m de la station Sherbooke, laissez-vous charmer par leur pâtisseries & prêt à manger. Il ne prennent pas l'argent comptant donc préparez votre carte ! Petite sélection de café & de thé avec un large éventail en vieinnoiserie.
Je salue l'audace de ce café, qui teste un concept novateur. À voir les avis ici, tous n'ont pas la même ouverture à la nouveauté. Moi j'ai apprécié l'expérience, le personnel était super sympathique & les produits étaient excellents. & si ne voulez pas payer avec le code QR, c'est possible d'aller voir un.e employé.e. Allez faire votre propre opinion 😊
After the renovations, the changes are more than architectural. What was once my main place for exercising my spoken French (ordering & chatting with the young & kind staff) is now self-serve with an app, scan the product & checkout with Google pay. Of all the places to go this route, Mamie Clafoutis is the last one I expected. Otherwise it is the same great baked goods & variety... with one exception - the ficelles with blue cheese & walnuts are now refrigerated (I am afraid, this change I literally cannot swallow...)
Went into the newly renovated store & it was an amazing experience. Store is super modern, filled with helpful smiling employees, & lovely delicious pastries. Had the best cinnamon roll of my life & some gorgeous milk bread. The experience was smooth & prices are great for the amazing quality. Young female employee with brown hair was exceptionally helpful & kind. Will definitely revisit & encourage all to do the same so they can try delectable baked goods in an exceptional atmosphere. Bakery of the FUTURE!!!

The ambiance, design & architecture of this place is top. Really clean, sleek, & modern. They have plenty of bread & dessert options & some frozen also. The chocolatine I ordered from here was so deliciously buttery!
Disappointed in the changes. I think the renovations are well done but the concept is not great. It doesn't have the authentic bakery feel that it used to have. Why change something that wasn't broken? The pastry & bread products are the same & are still delicious at least. However, the coffee bar is a terrible idea. You press a button & your coffee comes out of a tap. It does not taste as good as it used to. Why am I paying this much for lower quality? There's only one size available & it doesn't even fill up the cup. You cannot replace a good espresso machine & barista with an automatic coffee machine. Also, what happened to the nice sitting area? It just feels like they don't want you to stay long. Suggestions: Perhaps have a couple check out stations as an option. This will allow customers to browse around & still interact with staff - similarly to a small grocery store. Replace the automatic coffee machine with a coffee bar, where a barista is working & making fresh coffee using a real espresso machine.
I miss the old setup 😐, the new setup feels like you are getting bakery items from a production line. It dosent have the local bakery vibe anymore. Food quality was same I always thought that the price is 20% more than it should have. If you are visiting Montreal for few days then I will not recommend this bakery anymore. Oh & after this renovation I saw the croissants are looking weird & the boxed cake slice do not have its corners (I mean why). If you are going then have a Mamie kouign , suisse , & almandine ( sorry for the Rant, I used to love this place )
J'adore cette boulangerie. Leur nouveau concept de paiement libre service directement sur notre téléphone est super & me sauve au temps fou tous les matins!
As someone who enjoys sweets, these pastries are some of the best you'll find. Their new concept is quite refreshing as well. I really enjoy the ability to decide how I want to shop, whether that's on my own or with their lovely staff.
J'adore mamie mais je n'aime pas le concept que vous proposez, l'effet de ne pas avoir le contact avec les employés est déprimant & j'ai la sensation que la boulangerie a perdu l'esprit du magasin de quartier 💔

Quel gâchis. Trois mois de travaux pour transformer une boulangerie chaleureuse en un marché d'alimentation impersonnel. Les étals débordants ont laissé place à des étagères qui paraissent à demi vides & les congélateurs ont remplacé fours & pétrins. Les produits sont toujours aussi bons, mais l'expérience client est désastreuse. Dans un domaine où l'on met d'habitude en avant la tradition & le savoir-faire, ce nouveau concept de boutique me semble complètement raté.
I love the hot choco & the pastries from this store. Too bad i won't be able to buy it from this place again when i come back since it'll be under a renovation. Do u guys have the same store in a different place?
J'ai rarement mangé une tarte au citron aussi bonne ! C'était vraiment délicieux. Ils disposent même d'un endroit où l'on peut se détendre ou apportez son ordinateur si on besoin de travailler tout en prenant un petit remontant ! J'ai hâte d'en découvrir plus.
