Everything was freshly made on the spot. The soup dumplings were comforting & flavorful, the fried dumplings were crispy & delicious, & the peanut butter dumplings were surprisingly amazing - so good & perfectly balanced. Cozy, satisfying, & definitely worth coming back for!
I have to say I wasn't too impressed with the dumplings. They were mid, just okay & not a lot of choices for pescatarian.
The peanut butter dumplings were also not too great.
I wouldn't go back to this dumpling place, there are sooo many more all around that taste a lot better.
One thing I did like is that their dumplings were not overcooked with the steam & stayed a little firm.
Service wasnt too bad either, but they can pay a little more attention to their customers.
We ordered SHRIMP dumplings. What we received was some sort of ball of various ingredients including cabbage & who knows what else. Some of the pieces tasted pork-y instead of fishy. Also the peanut sauce had to be ordered separately. After ten minutes the dumplings had hardened up to be become hand-to-chewy. Don't bother. Go For dim sum elsewhere.
Went here for dinner. I ordered peanut butter dumplings & spring rolls. There was hardly any peanut butter on the dumplings & the dumplings fall apart as you are trying to eat them & the meat inside comes out so you have basically wet pasta & tiny pieces of meat. The spring rolls weren't fried properly. They were mushy instead of having a crispy outside. Also they were not the same size.
The space & atmosphere was nice & staff were welcoming. The peanut butter dumplings were good. The service was not great. We waited a long time for water & the appetizer plates took a long time to clear. The food was alright but when given the choice between fried or steamed dumplings, we were NOT told about the extra fee for fried dumplings which isn't right. At the end, they said they couldn't split any bills either which made it a bit more inconvenient.
Peanut butter dumplings & porc & green onion delicious. Cucumber salad was alright -- I will go back for the dumplings!
