MAKA? is praised as a stylish yet cozy spot with a chic and welcoming vibe, where guests often call the food delicious and creatively balanced and the cocktails and desserts stand out; the service is repeatedly described as attentive and friendly, contributing to an overall strong experience, though a few dishes may lack flavor or depth for the price and there can be waits or crowded seating during peak times; oysters on Wednesdays, standout offerings like bang bang shrimp and lobster fried rice and a refined ambiance make it suitable for dates, group dinners or celebrations, with a vibe that is both intimate and lively; while some experiences vary, the consensus is largely positive and many say they would return to MAKA?
Took my wife on a date to Makao. The food was delicious & the vibes were awesome. My wife really liked the Asian fusion dishes . The staff was great, their service was fast & super friendly. Highly recommend.

If you're looking for a place to host a business dinner, Makao is a perfect choice. The food is top-tier, & the atmosphere is both professional & relaxed."
The fusion food was great! The highlight for me was the roasted beet salad which had a great mix of flavours, I appreciated the fig & jelly along with the toppings. The fried rice & the general makao chicken were quite flavourful. The fried calamari themselves were good however I'm not sure I liked the tzatziki dip they were served with, I would have preferred something along the lines of a sriracha mayo. Service was attentive, drinks came up quickly, water was refilled promptly. There was a slight mixup with 2 food orders, but that can be forgiven by how it was handled & resolved. The right orders were put in quickly & we even got to keep an order of the extra rice. The atmosphere is nice, the restaurant is on the smaller side so it feels more intimate. The music is great.
The flavors at Makao are unlike any other restaurant in the area. Coupled with the beautiful setting, it's a perfect place to unwind & enjoy a great meal.
MAKAO has quickly become my favorite spot for Asian fusion. The bold flavors & unique combinations are a treat for the palate. Loved the crispy duck salad.
