Delphine was incredible. She was so kind & accommodating. The lychee martinis were delicious. The vibe in the restaurent was chic & contemporary, with an upbeat music curation. I highly recommend this restaurant for bang-bang shrimp. Delectable menu options in the Chinatown area! Definitely check out this restaurant for your Montreal experience.

Je suis allée manger chez Makao & honestly… la bouffe était INCROYABLE.
J'ai pris les lamb chops - portion généreuse, flavor qui a dépassé toutes mes expectations 🔥
& là… l'Amaretto Sour… JÉSUS.
I almost wanted to kiss the bartender 😭 she made that drink like she knew :
'nopeee, it's Saturday night, let me make her night.'

Honestly, one of the best restaurants I've ever been to.
The service, the food, & the atmosphere were all absolutely perfect.
The servers were incredibly kind & welcoming. The food was amazing, & the drinks were just as great.
They even let us play our own music in the restaurant, which made the experience even more special. They took shots with us too, & it was such a fun vibe.
This restaurant truly deserves much more recognition & should definitely be far more popular.

The service, the staff & the food are amazing!! Little cozy spot with some good drinks & food options. The music isn't too loud allowing a good vibe but also good conversation
The decor is aesthetically pleasing. It's clean. Service is great. Food wise, the portions are big but lack some depth in the flavours. A bit overpriced; you pay for the vibe. Disappointed that the Dragon Margarita had no dragon fruit in it contrary to what they show on IG.

Took my wife on a date to Makao. The food was delicious & the vibes were awesome. My wife really liked the Asian fusion dishes . The staff was great, their service was fast & super friendly. Highly recommend.

Celebrating my promotion at Makao was the best choice! Our booth was cozy, & the vibe was perfect. Jay provided excellent service. The Le Royal cocktails were delightful, paired beautifully with the lamb lollipops. 100% recommend!
