Staff are sweethearts, food is excellent & affordable, you can hear the karaage crisp from a mile away, spicy mayo that's actually spicy for once, recommend.
I got take out chicken karaage & chicken curry katsu & it's really sugary. …. The karaage is sweet. The curry is sweet. But it tastes like artificial sweet not even good quality sugar. It's really gross

I used to like this place, but the new girl here was very rude, I waited for 10min just for water & after I was ordering food she has that bad attitude & was so impatient, there were other tables around me full of white people, & she's being so polite, smiling at them & giving them recommendations, I'm really offended, will never come back again! & It's ridiculous that Asians are discriminated against by white waiters in Asian restaurants

Delicious with huge portion. The katsu was so big it didn't fit in my plate. The omurice with curry katsu was perfect for a cold night. Super friendly staff too.
changed everything accept the name not for the better. The tempura on the chicken & the plum mayo were highlights of the Karage chicken both are gone now. The decor is like sitting in a bomb shelter or cave.
Oh Taiwan means quality ! We tried the very well seasoned curry, fried chicken, mayo dips , braised pork, & omelette rice - all yummy! Nice portion & presentation. Will be back! & very good staff with personal kindness 😊 appreciated the great experience!

They've moved! But they've taken their amazing, affordable food with them! We always have a great time here.
Food is great, & our waiter was very friendly! He was saying theyre expanding to one more lounge-y place, & one smaller bistro (which is the one open now)
Looking forward to their next phase! But still a great pick even in their transition.
Made reservations for 9 people for dinner for a birthday in their new location. Had a bit of everything on the menu & loved all of it - big fans of the baos, the chicken karage, the udon, & the beef. The vibe was warm. We had a great time & commented many times on how it was a great spot to go before going out on a weekend.
The service was lovely. I called beforehand to ask about accommodating a person with a severe gluten allergy & the owner worked out a dish with us ahead of time (fried rice with beef, no soy sauce, clean pan) & was there to confirm while we were eating.
Can't wait to come back for cocktails & karaoke when the new section opens 🎤❤?
This is one of THE BEST Taiwanese-Asian fusion restaurants in Montreal - hands down! Everything is BOMB especially their bao buns, calamari, truffle fries & their karaage chicken. Their food is sooo fresh & genuinely to die for!
Great food for cheap! I took a karaage bao expecting it to be small but it was generously big. The chicken was super crunchy, but I do think the spicy mayo overpowered the rest of the flavours of the bao a bit (chicken, veggies, etc).
Service was really quick & friendly (we were a group of 6 a Wednesday evening at their new location). It was a bit cold inside. Seatings are diverse: high chairs & low chairs. Despite the restaurant being small, you still had enough space to be comfortable. There's space to hang your clothes too so you don't have to keep your big coats with you at the table.
I also recommend ordering the takoyakis; out of many takoyakis I ate at other places, the ones at MajesThé are def one of the best. They're big & well toasted.
If you're a group of 5+, reservation is recommended as the restaurant (well at least, for their location as of January 7 2026) is quite small.
