The server was so lovely! I dont understand why this place doesnt have much more hype. I lived in Korea & the flavors are almost the saaaaaame. I will come back again & if you are looking for some home-cooked Korean meal, you should come too. The reviews do not reflect the love of the food put into great taste.
Thank youuuu, I felt so happy & overjoyed about one of my best memories in life: living in Seoul.
The food was flavourful BUT The restaurant charged a tip on the meal plus taxes....THIS IS ILLEGAL. TIPS ARE SUPPOSED TO BE charged ONLY on the food.
I used to come here often when I lived downtown, & I still stop by occasionally whenever I'm in the area. Their Korean pork potato soup has been my go-to for over 10 years - from $7-8 back then to $15-16 now. This place has truly stood the test of time for me
Very authentic flavor, excellent table service. It's lovely to spend a night in here with friends or family.
Always sooooo tasty. We started with bibimoaps & are still with them... Because they are so good.
Honestly can't understand the bad reviews. Our go to takeout spot when comfort food is required. The chicken ginseng soup & the beef with radish soup is so comforting & came in a huge portion. Kimchi is mildly spicy with a sourness that cuts through like it's good for your health.
Pretty unfortunate meal. Server was super nice though. $20 for a dolsol with hardly any beef or veggies, just rice. Beef was tough & not flavourful. Kimchi was solid. Bathroom looked like a horror film. Random slippers in the dining area. I don't mind grimey but its got to be worth it. This def was not.
