I always enjoy their gamjatang & dubu kimchi jaeyukbokum. I mostly order online or stop by for take-out. They have good portions of food & it's delicious!

Honestly can't understand the bad reviews. Our go to takeout spot when comfort food is required. The chicken ginseng soup & the beef with radish soup is so comforting & came in a huge portion. Kimchi is mildly spicy with a sourness that cuts through like it's good for your health.

Pretty unfortunate meal. Server was super nice though. $20 for a dolsol with hardly any beef or veggies, just rice. Beef was tough & not flavourful. Kimchi was solid. Bathroom looked like a horror film. Random slippers in the dining area. I don't mind grimey but its got to be worth it. This def was not.

Been going to Maison Bulgogi since 2009-it's hands down my go-to Korean restaurant in Montreal. It's not trying to be anything it's not: just honest, hearty, home-style Korean food that hits the spot every time.

Whenever I feel a sniffle coming on, I run straight there for their healing ginseng chicken broth.

When I'm feeling good, I always go for the dolsot bibimbap, fried kimchi rice, or seafood pajun-comfort food perfection! Their banchan are consistently top tier-the mung bean sprouts, potatoes, & kimchi are especially excellent.

The free tea is a nice touch, & the service has always been kind & efficient. A true gem.

The food is always delicious, their kimchi is so tasty & the staff is really kind. Yes, the decor is a bit old but i've had such good comforting meals there that it truly doesn't matter. Order anything with kimchi & pork & you'll have a very happy belly. There's so many restaurants on Ste-Catherine & yet I always come back to this one.

I got bulgogi & rice with extra kimchi! The bulgogi is okay. I've had better but for the price portion that you get It's good. Where the lack of two stars comes in is I ordered an extra tub of kimchi for $4 & it's not properly fermented & a little bit gone off. The small portion of kimchi that came with the order tasted really good, it was good standard kimchi. However, I was disappointed that the big tub that I ordered Is basically gone off. I would suggest to the restaurant to Keep better track of fermentation & doublecheck with the food that they're delivering Is up to standard.

So far this is the most authentic korean restaurant in Montreal. Kimchijjigae was scorching hot as it should be, very generous amount of beef in Kalbi Tang & new interesting dish Mun a Muchim - cold salad with octopus, definitely should try if you like seafood with sweet-sour sauce. Banchan were delicious as well. The place looks simple but cozy. Prices are surprisingly moderate. Overall you definitely should try this place :)
