We've been coming to La Maison Bulgogi for years, & it's still just as good as we remembered!
Our favorite dish is still the Pork Bone Potato Soup (Gamjatang). The broth is rich, comforting, & incredibly satisfying-especially on a chilly day. It's the kind of soup that really warms you up from the inside.
The spicy stir-fried seafood was also delicious & worth ordering.
The only dish that didn't quite impress us was the fried chicken. It wasn't bad, but compared to the other dishes, it was just average.
Overall, we're happy to see the quality has stayed consistent over the years. We'll definitely keep coming back whenever we're craving a comforting Korean meal. Highly recommend the Gamjatang!
My family & I stopped here for Robert on our way to a movie. We had 40 minutes before show time & wanted an actual meal rather than fast food. This place did not disappoint. All four meals came straight from the stove hot to the table & it was all delicious. We ordered sweet & sour seafood, general too chicken, stir fried rice with shrimp, & a soup dish with beef & noodles. We ate it before I could get a photo, but it was beautiful too. Highly recommend if you're in the area & looking for a good meal.
Been going to Maison Bulgogi since 2009-it's hands down my go-to Korean restaurant in Montreal. It's not trying to be anything it's not: just honest, hearty, home-style Korean food that hits the spot every time.
Whenever I feel a sniffle coming on, I run straight there for their healing ginseng chicken broth.
When I'm feeling good, I always go for the dolsot bibimbap, fried kimchi rice, or seafood pajun-comfort food perfection! Their banchan are consistently top tier-the mung bean sprouts, potatoes, & kimchi are especially excellent.
The free tea is a nice touch, & the service has always been kind & efficient. A true gem.
Chill Korean restaurant with a lot of options on the menu. Perhaps some items are a hit or miss. The gamjatang was very good, generous portions with the pork bones with a good mix of lean & fatty meat & tendon. The salmon teriyaki was okay, & the BBQ eel was surprisingly tasty. I really enjoyed the fried chicken, it was very crispy & well seasoned without too much batter. The banchan that was served was decent, the braised potatoes & bean spirits were my favourite. Overall, worth coming if you have a craving for Korean food, & looking for an affordable option!
Great food, & great value too! Would 100% recommend. Friend had the pork bone soup, which looked delicious! Meanwhile I had the bulgogi, & we split some Fried Chicken & Fried Calamari between the two of us. Left the place satisfied, & full.
The food was excellent. Fried Man Du was awesome. The Dolsot Bi Bim Nap was also very good.
What a great & authentic food! Great & fast service, incredible taste of soups, fried shrimps & dumplings! A great starter plate before the appetizers that are offered by the house! My best recommendation!
