Afficher toutsoup(18) korean(17) pork(13) kimchi(10) dishes(9) authentic(9) beef(8) chicken(8) fried(7) recommend(6) tasty(6) gem(6)La Maison Bulgobi is a hidden gem for delicious Korean cuisine at reasonable prices. The staff were friendly & happy to recommend dishes, enhancing our dining experience. Although the outdated decor & dim lighting may not impress, the food more than makes up for it.
Nice Korean food in a chill atmosphere, great selection of traditional dishes, good customer attention, waiter is really kind & friendly, good prices, I really love that most dishes come along with rice & you are served with side dishes, definitely one of my favourite restaurants in the city
I wish they would focus more on a few dishes they already do well instead of having a thousand items on their menu, it's never a good idea. I love their gamjatang & their dumpling rice cake soup but their seollongtang was bad. i feel like 10yrs ago this place was full of people & now it's always empty, they need to revamp the place a little so it's more enticing. the bathrooms are absolutely horrible & the service isn't always great.
Cold side dishes 2nd refill will be charged extra. :( (disappointed) I love the black goat stew! 🍲 To nitpick could be the Teriyaki sauce was added too much on salmons, which tasted salty to me personally. The steam dumplings were a bit over-cooked. The owner offered us awesome services. Overall it's a nice place to chill! ♨️
I don't know why the reviews are so low for this place. Maybe everyone is getting the wrong dish? Get the spicy pork bone soup! It's one of my favorite dishes in the city. I've lived in New York & had spicey pork bone soup at multiple places in New York, & Toronto. This one is by far the best! It's simple but intensely flavored. The portions are large, & the prices are very fair. There are few legit no-frills restaurants in Montreal, & this is one of them.
Used to go there every week for years a long time ago. The original owners were this couple that made authentic Korean dishes. Went back & had their shabu shabu, & was not disappointed, but not amazed since it used to taste better in my memory. A great spot to go during the weekend if your options were jampacked on Saint Catherine Street.
Owner is very cheap, charge me takeout bowls, no refill on small dishes. Average food taste
