Nous avions une réservation à 18h00 pour 12 dans la salle vip. Heureusement qu'il n'y avait pas de réservation de la salle pour le 2e service de 21h00 car nous aurions été pressés pour la fin du repas. D'allouer que 2 heures pour l'utilisation de la salle vip serait peut-être à réviser. Juste une suggestion. Merci pour la soirée.

I had made a reservation for 7:30 but despite having a reservation we had to wait 20minutes to be seated at the table.

Probablement parmi les meilleurs Sushis de la région Montréalaise. Les Sushis sont énormes & bien garnis, la présentation impeccable. Les Sashimis sont néanmoins, une note en dessous. La place est très populaire & dans l'air du temps, bref un peu chicos & de fait des prix en conséquences. Bonne expérience, éventuellement à refaire.

After ordering, we waited an hour for our food. We were disappointed, as we were very much looking forward to our first experience at Maiko. The food was excellent, but the quality of the service diminished our experience.

I have done this review already but here it is again. The food was delicious. The atmosphere was super loud & noisy & it didn't help that the tables are way too close together. Much too squished.

The food was delicious. But the ambiance was questionable. I only say that because the tables were just inches from each other. We felt 'very' squishy! & it was extremely loud. It would be nice if there was a little bit of extra space between tables so it didn't feel like we were dining 'on top of' each other.

Amazing sushi & awesome service. The best sushi restaurant in the West Island by far & the beautiful interior design of the space elevates the experience even further. I would highly recommend Maiko.

We had not been to Maiko Sushi in quite a number of years. We had remembered it being quite good, but we were very disappointed last night. Although the food quality was indeed exceptional, & beautifully presented, everything else was pretty much a fail. The place is too noisy to carry on a proper conversation, with the back beat of the music adding to an already crowded restaurant, & the tables are placed so close together that the diners & servers could hardly pass through. In fact, our server had to interrupt taking our orders to let others pass by. Then there was the extreme tardiness of the service. It took 45 minutes for even our first courses to arrive, & about 90 minutes for the main course, by which time we were all very hungry. What truly disappointed me is that, despite the inordinate wait that at that pretty much negated how good the food itself was, no one offered anything to us to express a small token of gratitude for our patience. It though that this was very poor customer relations.
