I tend to usually have the Steak Frit (Bavette Steak) & dries & it is always very good. My wife tries different meals & she also always enjoys the food there. Atmosphere is always lively. Good service & nothing bad to say.View more

Horrible service & mediocre food. Ordered several dishes to share for the table. The first dish arrived, calamari which was actually delicious, but tiny, then we waited over 45 minutes for anything else to show up while we watched every other table around us get their food. Our waiter passed by our table table several times & never once acknowledged that we were sitting with an empty table. Then at the end it took another 30 minutes to get our bill. The lobster rolls, once they finally showed up were quite good, albeit way overpriced, the crab cakes & salmon tartare however were unappealing, no one in my party cared for them. The cheeseburgers were just ok, would not repeat, lacked seasoning. I've been to Lucille's many times on Monkland, this visit to Fairview was a huge disappointment, & way overpriced for what you get, both in quality & portion size. Stick to the steaks or ribs & you'll be fine.View more

Ordered the Bass...was OK but seemed seasoned from one of those packs of seasonings you buy here & there. The bass skin was so full of scales, it was like I had fished it myself. Either they received fresh fish that the cook did not know how to prepare OR where ever they got it from did not know how to scale/prepare a fish to cook. Husband's steak was over seasoned but very well cooked. Was told that fries were fresh & made in house. I would love to be corrected for doubting this. Would I go back? Yes, if not but for the fresh oysters!View more

Strangely, it was not very busy for a Father's Day supper at 6pm. I was able to reserve a table for 4 just an hour before. Not a complaint to be able to get a table. Our waiter was good, the atmosphere was average, nothing spectacular. Perhaps we were early. Anyhow, we dined at Lucille's Tremblant & Lucille Laval many times. We felt both places were better than Fairview, even atmosphere wise. My kids both ordered the salmon tartare entree at 21$ each, which at the other locations, came with 1/2 boston lettuce. Here, there was none. I was going to ask but by the time the waiter pops over, my kids already finished the tartare. It was a small portion!!! The food, don't order the demi-snow crab appertizer. It was two tiny legs in a huge plate of ice for 27$ about. Not worth it. I had the steak frites for 35$ which I find it's good, but nothing spectacular to choose it over other places. We had to order the seafood linguini for the kids as they were still hungry. Overall, we spent ~250$ service included for a supper of 2 adults & two kids with two alcoholic drinks, a Shirley Temple & a Gingerale. Not a cheap meal. I should have gone to Kiku Monkland for sushi & probably have a better supper & experience for the same price.View more

We had a great experience at Lucille's. The food was high quality, the service was excellent & the atmosphere great as well. The oysters & hot crab dip were delicious. The steak & seafood for the most part was excellent. Out of the 4 meals, the only disappointing thing was the lobster roll (lobster was excellently cooked, but the roll lacked flavour). The Lucille's bloody Caesar's, which we've had before & we're delicious, were just not up to the same quality last night (watery). Overall a good experience.View more

I expected more quality for the money. I don't mind paying, as long as the quality comes with it. 2 people, steak meal plus 2 drinks for 150.00 $, deserves a higher level of quality than what we got served, in my opinion.View more

Great food , service & ambiance. A huge bonus is that they make very good cocktails. I really recommend their margarita. I had the rib steak & my wife had the filet. Both were amazing. I don't usually like the taste of filet mignon but I tried my wife's & it was as if I was in Texas. Simply melts in your mouth. The side vegetables are also very good. They grill fennel. How cool is that? Dessert was great . People around me were fun / friendly. Totally the vibe I am looking for. Shout out to our waiter was Nick who gave us top notch service! They gave us new cutlery & napkins after the appetizer. Very nice touch. Our water kept being filled. I see come reviews saying that it's pricey. I find it very comparable to other restaurants that don't out the same superb quality. Honestly, very impressed but I like quality & am not opposed to paying a high bill if it's worth it. . The food was great. Had the lobster rolls & my partner had the steak frites with shrimp. The service was a little slow at first but we went on a Saturday night...I guess to be expected. The wait staff was very helpful & attentive. We had the 1$ oysters which were also good. The "by the glass" selection for the wine is quite limited, so we opted for a bottle. Now for the price: I think the lobster rolls were a little overpriced however the steak frites was decently priced. The steak was cooked to perfection! I was overall impressed with the quality of the food. Surpassed my expectations. I would definitely go again.View more

So glad I finally tried this place!! Our reservation was at 10pm so we did have to eat fast. Me & my friends all started off with the crispy calamari. We absolutely loved it. For our mains, I got the smoked baby back ribs with an addition of grilled shrimp. I loved how saucy & juicy the ribs were. I do wish the shrimps had less of a burnt taste & more of a grilled taste though. Still amazing. My friend got the Steak-Frites cooked medium & it was delicious! My other friend got the seafood linguini pasta with an addition of lobster tail. She said without that addition, the pasta wouldn't have been as good. She said the sauce was also very spicy. But nevertheless, she still really enjoyed it.View more

Points positifs : - Le repas était délicieux, en particulier le steak & la queau de homard. - L'entrée de chou-fleur était vraiment savoureuse. - L'ambiance générale du restaurant était appréciable. Points négatifs : - Pour les amateurs de calmars, il n'y avait rien de particulier, c'était très neutre, y compris la sauce. - Le service était un peu distant & moins axé sur le client, surtout pour le style de restaurant. Conclusion positive : Malgré quelques points à améliorer, mon expérience dans ce restaurant a été globalement très positive. La qualité des plats & l'ambiance ont fait de cette découverte une belle surprise, au point que j'y suis retourné deux soirs d'affilée pendant mon séjour à Montréal pour le travail.View more

Mixed bag Lucilles is a beautiful restaurant, the food is delicious the atmosphere is great & the service is well ... its ok . we have been going at least once a week since the opening to this location. It truly is a mixed bag on each time for service, some servers are more attentive then others on our specific turn around this time it was a special occasion where we arrived with someone who was mobility reduced & had reserved a table a week in advance to make sure we would be comfortable & when we arrived we were surprised that the table we reserved was taken with no explanation or substitute so that was a huge bummer so we were sat next to a table of children on the side , our server also forgot some of our drinks we ordered & sides so we constantly had to remind them which got to be a little bit of a chore. Nonetheless the food was good but we were overall dissatisfied with the service & thats not nothing. Food we have had from Lucilles so far : All the lunch platters only available in the afternoon . The mango margaritas & Lagers on tap The calamari & specialty oysters Food we look forward to trying: The Aged steak set & what we hope changes the next time we go around: Honouring of reservations especially if its a special occasion & a bit of extra care & attention from the front of house staff .View more

It's like our friends were saying. "It's good... but way too pricey". It was our first time here & it was good. But the bill is way too high for what you get. The atmosphere is okay. More of an open concept place than an intimate dining place. The service is excellent. Everyone is very attentive. Cleaning your table. Replacing used napkins & topping off drinks or water. Would we go back- to be honest no unless it was someone's choice to go there. My husband really liked his seafood pasta dish. My steak was fine. I didn't prefer the sauce on the shrimp. I had the steak & prawns. My husband the seafood linguine. For starters we got the southern hot crab dip & $1 oysters. & for dessert the dark chocolate caramel dome.View more

Lucilles has been on my restaurant bucket list since I saw the location was set to open in Pointe Claire years ago. The service was incredible. From the hostess greeting all the way to the cheque, the staff was present, attentive without being intrusive, fast & friendly. We were left to our conversations but never left looking for another cocktail or other service. Sadly, the food was extremely disappointing. A dozen premium oysters lacked any sort of brininess that they're known for. Accompanied by 2 slim lemon slices & dry horseradish. Clam chowder lacked seasoning & the cubed potatoes were undercooked & crunchy. Six calamari rings were nearly $20 & had so much snap to them. Lastly salmon tartare which was billed as "Asian-style", was fresh & firm but lacked any sort of flavoring, served with a head of iceberg lettuce cut in half, with dirt between the leaves & crispy rice noodles that had potential but also had no seasoning of flavor to them. Both other people at the table ordered steaks which were served on wood cutting boards, which were cracked so leaked juices on to the table. I had such high expectations for this experience & I was incredibly let down. I hugely appreciate the level of service that we received but in seeking a great dining experience, I think this Lucilles' location majorly missed the mark.View more

This place lived up to the hype. Party of four, started with salmon & tuna tartare as well as fried calamari, very tasty paired with their house IPA which was surprisingly flavourful. I had the 16oz rib steak, pictured, & it just melted in the mouth, topped with a butter concoction which was decadent, what an explosion of flavour. Medium rare, cooked perfectly. Paired nicely with a decent portion of fries. The service was outstanding. The entrance with the cuts of beef is dope. Definitely going again, highly recommend.View more

Très belle endroit , les huîtres à 1$ valent sont délicieuses, je trouvent personellement que les prix sont un peu élevés , les services est bien & aucun problème de stationnement. Resto un peu bruyant, on peu même ressentir un peu de pression pour terminer le repas pour laisser la place a d'autres client . Le prix des vins est très haut , le verre à $16 & la bouteille la moins chère à $50 . Our table enjoyed the new addition to your menu , the fried chicken . 3 of us had steak that was awesome , we all loved the seasoning on the steak . The sweet potato fries are some of the best we have had . The other 3 had the lobster Roll & enjoyed very much . The waiters were attentive & the bus boy was amazing , brought new napkins & cutlery for each course . Everyone enjoyed the appetizers that had , I really loved the Caesar salad, the pickles were a nice touch & I liked that the salad had the right amount of dressing. The hot crab dip was delicious , the oysters were a hit , calamari was great .
Drinks were delivered quickly & the waiter kept the water bottle full . Very great experience .

Octopus tasted more boiled as opposed to grilled, rather disappointing as I had it once before at the restaurant & it was better, even considered sending it back. The Greek salad it came with was ok but the blob of mayo like sauce underneath it was not good & unnecessary. Steaks were good as was lobster rolls. Service was good but will think twice about going again as some of the menu items were not good.
