I've been here at least 10-12times. Half of those times I went with my three kids. The broth doesn't taste artificially seasoned like other hotpot restaurants I've been to in Montreal (large franchises nearby, Chinatown, etc.). It's a little more comfortable after eating. I love spicy food, so I don't go back to places that make me feel sick after eating. The tables are clean, & the self-service bar is also clean. If you look at the reviews here, there are almost no complaints about the staff. The male staff member with glasses is very friendly. He doesn't bother explaining things. My kids love going here. They especially like the nice server & the comfortable atmosphere. However, there was a female server I've met a few times. She's annoying, you can tell from her expression. I feel bad about ordering from her. When I asked her about something I didn't know, I couldn't understand her explanation. Anyway, I wish she had a brighter expression. & I will go back & eat here again, & it is definitely the best hotpot restaurant in Montreal that I have been to. Sometimes when the owner himself serves, he often asks for feedback. I like that attitude too. People who find things to improve are the ones who improve. See you again!!

First time & not the last! Great service from Bohao, went there for lunch with a friend. We took the lunch set menu at $22,99 one lamb & the other beef. It came with a soup base (tomato broth for me), sauce bar, nice chicken wings & pineapple.

I went here for my birthday, & we had a blast. The service was fantastic. Our server gave us great suggestions, & warned us about the spice levels. (Warning: mild is still very spicy! If you can't handle spice, there's a "ultra mild" option). The broths are very flavourful, & had great variety. We all agreed that our favourite broth was the Japanese Sukiyaki. I was not expecting it but, I was also given a birthday gift at the end of my meal (Tote bag, key chain, & cellphone stand). It was a pleasant surprise. I would definitely go back. It worked out to about 50$ / person on the weekend & we did order drinks).

I've had hot pot several times in China & was so happy to find this place in Montreal! It's a bit expensive but it's all you can eat & hot pot is just such a fun experience! Broth were tasty & there is a lot of choice in meats, veggies, & noodles. It was my friend's first time having hot pot & he is now obsessed with it! They also got a cute robot who sometimes bring you your food.

Me & my Friend came on the Line, Lamb was dope, it was crazy on my mind, Duck broth & couple bottle of rice wine, We was loud, everybody was damn fine, Food so damn fresh, vegetable & meet! Crab & Shrimp plate, ending with Little candy The staff was the best, especialy my waitress Yi Yi, Serving us without stress & with his smile shinny, Thank you for the great Time!

What a wonderful evening. Got there pretty late,maybe around 8.45pm. Last call was at 10pm but we had ample time to order 2-3 times. Items were good, broths were delicious. We were 2 so went with one spicy tomatoe beef broth & a radish broth which was amazing. They had these special drink. The Soju melon drink was great! Food came out quickly. They had an appetizer & a pick your own sauces little station which was nice to go to before the food came out. Our waiter Daniel was AMAZING! So attentive & polite & happy! He as well as the other waited made the experience really good. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left the staff was so very friendly. We will definitely be back!

Service was fast & staff is super friendly 10/10 Food was amazing 10/10 Seafood laksa soup broth was so good, not too spicy (just the perfect amount) Plum juice was a very good pair with the meal. Our waitress vixi was so sweet & nice. Never messed up our orders & always smiling :)

We come from a predominantly Chinese neighborhood back in the States & have been spoiled with good hot pot, so it was difficult to rate the food 5/5. However, we ordered 2 broths (duck & Sukiyaki) & a plethora of beef, pepper & salt chicken, & a number of veggies. The food was just fine, but our server Yi Yi did a really great job explaining the process & procedure behind hotpot, as well as offering very friendly & excellent recommendations regarding what would complement the broths. We appreciated her kindness & patience!

Our group of 6 was new to this place so we were really grateful for the way our server, Daniel, walked us trough the menu & how everything worked. He gave us his recommendations for broths & we took him up on his offer to choose a variety of things on the menu for us. He made some great choices & saved us so much time by not having to go through the menu as a group & pick what quantity of which things to get. We also had two people at the table with different allergies, so we appreciated the attention he took to avoid the the things they couldn't eat. We all enjoyed the sukiyaki broth a lot & I particularly liked the seafood laksa broth a lot. For the meats, we liked the fatty beef more than the lean one & the lamb was my favourite. I also recommend the shrimp paste. They also have a little buffet style snack bar with a few appetizers, sauces, fruits & sesame balls for dessert that you should get to before the meal arrives.

So happy to have finally tried this place & it was worth every penny! The place is nice & cozy. The service was excellent, always checking up on you. The broths were sooo flavourful! Big variety of ingredients to add to your broth. The chicken wings were delish. Perfect place to go with friends to share food. Totally recommend this place & will definitely go back!

Lacking flavour in broth, meat didn't taste very fresh. Only good thing was the dipping sauce bar. Better to do your own hot pot at home

It was good overall, nothing extraordinary, & for the price I was expecting more. I found it expensive that you pay a price per person plus you also pay for the broth you choose. We went for lunch & we spent over $50 per person. Honestly I don't think I will go back. But, the food was tasty, the waiter was really nice with was.

Really enjoyed this hot pot place near Guy-Concordia. You have a max of 2h to eat, but they have so many different ingredients for your hot pot & the broths are really nice (my favourite is either the tomato beef or the sukiyaki). Overall I enjoyed this place, except the attitude of the manager who was really pushy towards the end ("are you done? Are you finish? You can leave? Want to pay?). My go-to dipping sauce : • 2 spoons of peanut sauce • 1 spoon of oyster sauce • sesame oil • sesame seeds • cilantro • some chili sauce for the kick

This place was packed, even on a Thursday night, so my expectations were high, & it didn't disappoint. All the food was so good & really fresh, especially the shrimp. I had the Laksa seafood broth, & it was delicious. Only complaint is that the service was a little slow. We had to wait a while for our order, even after we had asked twice. That being said, it was also really busy, & all the servers were extremely kind & very apologetic when we asked them to check on our food. They frequently stopped by our table to pour us more broth or deliver fresh napkins. All in all, it was a great experience, & i would definitely recommend it for anyone looking for a good hotpot place in Montreal!

Kudos to the entire LYS team. The service here is remarkable. Daniel was really great with recommendations & service. The place is spotless, food comes fast, lots of really yummy broth options. Even the waiting for a table was efficient with their automated text system. Strongly recommend. Best hotpot (food & experience) in Montreal. Will be back.

Walked in here yesterday for three people 30mins before their last call & we were seated within 10mins. The servers are friendly & accommodating. We ordered three different soup broths- laksa, tomato & chicken. All was delicious! We were too hungry & ate so much. We were not rushed out & the server made sure to ask for our last orders before they closed the kitchen for the night. The sauce station had more to offer than the usual spot I go to. They had taro sesame balls, assorted cut up fruits, pickled chicken feet, other things I could not recall. I was $33 per person for all you can eat with so much food items to choose from! What a delicious experience. Did not take enough photos this time because we were too busy to eat! Highly recommended!
