Review Summary

Lina Restaurant Express is described in reviews as a small, authentic Asian option in Tremblant village, offering good quality, fresh flavors and generous, affordable portions that make it a reliable choice for a quick lunch. The menu provides a lot of variety and friendly staff help with selections, with dishes such as Shanghai Noodles and Combo A noted as substantial, often more than enough for two, and options to customize dishes like removing onions. The overall experience is portrayed as solid and satisfying rather than fine dining, with generous portions, large takeout containers, and a casual vibe that appeals to Chinese food cravings. Some reviewers emphasize the value and ease of dining there despite comparisons to bigger cities, while others see the restaurant as a dependable, crowd pleasing option in a small village.

I went here in July 2025, this is a very solid 3.5 or 4 stars. Considering where it is & the availability of ingredients.

People on the reviews comparing it to Chinese food in Toronto or MTL are just ridiculous. You have an actual Chinese restaurant in the small village of Tremblant, you expect to get top tier Chinese food?

I ordered the Shanghai Noodles & Combo A1. The noodles are pretty much what you would expect. We asked for it without onions & they easily accommodated. The A1 was General Tao with rice, vegetables & a egg roll with soup.

The amount of food you get at this place is huge. People want to compare to Toronto? The containers they give is probably twice the size of the containers we get in Toronto. & with the extra sides that came with Combo A1 it was just a ridiculous amount of food for $17.

I liked it here more than at Thaizone.

Lina's is perfect for my Chinese food cravings. It's not fine dining, but good quality & fresh & tasty. The portions are generous too, one combo meal is almost enough for two people. Try the Cantonese noodles for something a little different. General Tao is super popular, but sauce is too sweet & a little too much batter for my taste. Egg rolls are delicious.

So sorry to give a lower rating as the customer service provided is fine & there are many options to choose from. The combo price is also good for what is included. Unfortunately we just really did not enjoy our food. It wasn't up to my expectation for the Chinese food I'm used to & I would have spent more elsewhere to have my hunger satisfied. It felt like the flavour was missing, in particular in the fried rice & general tao. Perhaps I ordered the wrong thing, & others with more positive experiences had better dishes. The soup broth was good.
