We had a really good experience here, from the food to the drinks to the service, everything came together nicely. The space has a fun, laid-back vibe that makes it perfect for a casual night out.
We ordered:
• Papaya salad
• Wasabi shrimp ceviche
• Steak
✨ Stuffed Wings: hands down the highlight of the night. It was such a creative, flavorful, & absolutely delicious dish.
Every dish felt thoughtful & full of personality. They are creative but not over the top. Would definitely come back again next time I'm in Montreal.

Delicious, fresh, & beautiful presented food (best lamb chops ever tasted) & very good drinks (love their signature mezcal cocktail) Beautiful decor & good ambiance. Excellent & courteous service. They even explain every dish served. Have visited many times, for date night, birthdays, girls night out, & Les Street Monkeys' team never disappoint. Thanks, see you soon

Food were very delicious, & I love them a lot! The server was super friendly & attentive. However, the restaurant was very loud, & I barely heard the conversation. Another drawback of the restaurant is the portion is very small & expensive. A small plate of food for $20-$30. Two of us ordered one drink each, 4 plates & desserts cost $160 before tax & tips. & we still didn't feel full!

Only took 2 drinks & 1 dessert because there isn't much you can eat without garlic & shrimps, but it was totally worth it because the 3 were amazing!
If the rest of the menu is crafted with as much care, this is an easy recommendation (although a bit pricey)

Amazing night at Street Monkeys! It was amazing to be seated by the chef counter on a cold night since the heat of the kitchen warmed us up! The food was amazing; the lamb chops were tender & juicy, the drinks are very well balanced & beer was perfect! The steak & fried chicken are also very tasty! The ceviche was AMAZING but it is not for the faint of heart when it comes to spicyness! Will be back soon enough since this is truly a food gem in Montreal.

Nous étions un groupe de 12 personnes. On nous oublige à prendre le menu groupe à 60$. Les portions de crève-faim, nous avons comparés les assiettes des gens dans le resto, & on avait 1 assiette pour 4 personnes quand on voit très bien que l'assiette était pour 1 personne. Les drinks! Oh lala! 17$ pour un petit verre d'alcool!!!! Les plats goûtait trop la sauce poisson. Côté viande, 1 petite côtelette d'agneau, 1 brochette de poulet & 1/4 de poisson vivanneau pour chaque personne. Nous avions des gars avec nous qui avaient faim!! Bcp de légumes. 7 plats qui selon moi ne valait pas 60$ par personne & pas de dessert pour conclure le tout. La qualité de la nourriture est bonne, les assiettes sont soignées, mais si vous avez faim, n'allez pas là. Trop cher! On s'est senti volé! Raison pourquoi nous n'allons plus au resto surtout à Mtl!

Delicious. Smaller plates that don't disappoint. Treat yourself to the wasabi shrimp to kick start your culinary experience. We went for some drinks & snacks but left having sampled the menu. Will return.

Best restaurant in Montreal! The food is always great & the drinks are delicious. I highly recommend the wasabi shrimp ceviche & the bone marrow!

I have been several times, & am never disappointed. The food is so flavourful & delicious. The stuffed chicken wings are to die for. The fish amok is also a win, but would have liked a little more sauce on the plate. The lamb was scrumptious as well. The papaya salad was a little underwhelming, it missed a little oomph even though we asked for it spicy. A pet peeve i have when i go to a SHARING restaurant is when they serve you an odd number in the plate. 3 wings, 3 lamb chops. I mean, I nearly had to fight my companion, but in the end we split them equitably. :) The drinks are also very good.

Impeccable service catered to your needs, with knowledgeable servers there to answer any questions & to make suggestions. Everything that we ate was absolutely delicious, as were our drinks. A total experience!

Went on a dinner date with friends. Spectaculaire vibe to the place for a date night or moody dinner. Bar & table seating available but the place gets busy so make a reservation! Food was delicious! Smaller delicate portions meant for sharing, would recommend getting multiple plates & a side of rice doesn't hurt. dessert was perfect, not too heavy or overly sweet. Crème brûlée was so so good & I had to hold myself back from eating the whole thing! Drinks were by far some of the best cocktails we've had in ages. My partner got a coconut mocktail that was hard to resist & they do not skimp on the booze so prepare for a hearty drink! Would definitely go here just to sip on a drink & catch up with friends.

Absolument incroyable! Mon amoureux & moi sommes sortis par pur hasard & nous sommes tombés sur ce bijoux près de chez nous. La nourriture est absolument exquise, les drinks sont savoureux, le staff est chaleureux & accueillant, la musique est entraînante ; bref, qu'est-ce que vous attendez pour y aller ?

We enjoyed our first visit & want to come back to try more delicious & flavourful dishes!! I would recommend the SAUTEED GREENS, STUFFED CHICKEN WINGS, WASABI SHRIMP CEVICHE, FRIED PAPAYA SALAD. We had the YUZU SNOOZE YUZU LOSE & PEARL NECKLACE drinks; delicious & refreshing :) The Crème Brûlée for dessert was amazing!! Thank you!

As a decade long restaurant employee & owner, here's my honest POV. Everything is delicious, from the food to the drinks. Presentation is awesome. Service is pretty impersonal & cold.
Eaten with you twice, will keep eating here.
