Discover Cambodian cuisine in this resto-bar located in Verdun. Located on one of the most beloved streets of Montreal, Street Monkeys is the perfect place to enjoy a dinner with friends or family.
Overall, reviews describe Les Street Monkeys as a vibrant spot offering inventive Cambodian-inspired cuisine with a strong emphasis on sharing plates, where many dishes and flavors are praised, from papaya salad and wasabi shrimp ceviche to stuffed wings, cod in coconut curry and other fusion twists. The service is repeatedly noted as attentive and friendly, and the bar program with cocktails earns frequent praise, along with a lively, colorful ambiance that is great for groups, dates, or casual nights out. A few comments point to small portions for the price and occasional inconsistency across dishes or noise level, and some diners note that tasting or fixed menus for larger groups can feel limiting. Nevertheless, the overall takeaway is a memorable, creative dining experience with high quality ingredients and thoughtful presentation, making it a go-to spot for exploring Cambodian-inspired flavors in a convivial setting.
Excellente nourriture & ambiance. Bon service. Je n'ai pas apprécié que le terminal de paiement ne propose pas de pourboire à 15%. Je n'ai pas apprécié que l'entrée dans le restaurant soit difficile pour les personnes se déplaçant en fauteuil.

Was there on Friday, the 11th for the second time & once again, did not disappoint. Food was fantastic, drinks were great (I knocked one over & it fell & broke, sorry about that & my girlfriend & I are definitely going back.
La bouffe etait excellente. Nous avons commandé 5 plats & les avons partager a deux. Notre serveuse nous a bien conseillé pour le vin egalement. La playlist rap annees 90 etait excellente bref, j'ai tout aimé. Merci!
Great atmosphere & attentive staff. Both my husband & I thought it was "over sauced", too salty, to oily, no finesse. My broccoli entree was drenched in sauce & oil. Mushroom entree was better & my husbands beef entree was way to over sauced. Limited selection of vegan choices. For those reasons, will not return.
Food tasted good, but small portions for the price. Service takes too long, waiters don't come to you right away. They serve you food one order at a time & it's like eating & then waiting for the rest of the meal to come one by one. We asked to have all of our orders come at the same time, but took way longer.
