If you're exploring Old Montreal & want a meal that feels a little more special than the usual tourist stop, Les Pyrénées is definitely worth trying.

The restaurant has a cozy, relaxed atmosphere & is perfectly located on Rue Saint-Paul. The menu has a great mix of Catalan, Spanish, & Mediterranean-inspired dishes, with plenty of options for sharing.

For a first visit, I highly recommend the Catalan seafood paella-it's one of their signature dishes & a great choice if you're dining with family or friends. For starters, try the cod fritters & patatas bravas. Ordering a few tapas is also a good way to experience more of the menu.

There are good choices for both seafood & meat lovers, & the overall dining experience feels warm & enjoyable.

Definitely a restaurant I'd recommend while visiting Old Montreal.

I had forgotten I ordered a beer I was so focused on the food!

Seafood Paella was great as was the French onion soup! I shared the two with my girlfriend & we left happy.

Wonderful staff working here who are very accommodating.

Stopped in for dinner on our last night in town. We were able to get a table immediately! We ordered the seafood Paella & a bottle of white wine. Our server was attentive & the food was incredibly delicious! Smokey from the chorizo & seafood was cooked nicely. We also ordered the Spanish orange cake & it was light & delicious! Perfect way to end our stay with fantastic service & a memorable meal!

Very good tapas & large plate restaurant in Montreal.
I had the Chicken & Chorizo Penne & my wife the seafood linguine which she rated excellent.
Pretty busy & although we had booked walk ins accepted.
Quieter end of the Old City & worth the short walk.

Birthday dinner. Hard to get reservation, thanks to the concierge at the Embassy Suites for snagging us a rez.
Little bit of a rocky start on a very busy Saturday night. But the staff was attentive & made it right - all went well from there.
The tomato bread appetizer was delicious, a French Canadian bruschetta dish! Also tasty was the tomato dip & bread that came while we were waiting to get our table sorted.
Cod croquettes next. Very nicely done with a nice aioli'sauce' dressing.
The Paella with seafood & chorizo was a nice portion to split & very tasty, the rice done perfectly. & the little lemon water cleansing bowls were so amazing for the fingers!
Finished with a creme brulee' that was also delicious. Very crisped sugar topping for sure!
To really make things special, the owner made several visits to our table. Definitely knows how to treat his clientele, must send a shout out to him.
He went out of his way to really make us feel special. Amazing guy.

Best seafood pasta in town. Excellent service. Cozy, warm interior. Located in the most charming part of Montreal city. It has a beautiful terrasse in summer. We were absolutely delighted each time we've visited this restaurant. Quite an experience, always to the same exact standard! ✨

Delicious food & ambiance was great. I appreciated the great customer service that was received. The place was pretty packed but felt like we still got really good service. I ordered the seafood paella, gazpacho & veggie sandwich. Would recommend getting reservations during holiday season or weekends.

Delicious spot of French & Spanish fusion- we absolutely loved this restaurant. We had a variety of options from menu including the seafood chorizo Paella, duck salad, octopus, & stew. Waiter was extremely knowledgeable & friendly, & helped us choose a wonderful wine to accompany our dinner. Will come again!
