Les Pyrenées est un Jolie restaurant français situé sur St-Paul.

Superbe découverte en visitant le Vieux Port! Délicieuse cuisinie, le tartare se boeuf & les crevettes grillées étaient incroyables, & ils ont une belle sélection de vins & cocktails.
The staff was energetic & friendly & got us seated quickly even during a busy night. The food was outstanding, especially the beef cheeks. Probably the best meal we've had in Montreal. We really appreciated how most of the menu was either gluten free or could be prepared gluten free.

Had an amazing time at Les Pyrenees, brought our toddler along with us & the staff made a special plate just for her! She loved it, they also brought her a small apple juice while we had a liqueur at the end of the night which she thought was the best thing. Our meal was delicious & our waiter Justin was very friendly & had some excellent tips on where to visit in Montreal. Would definitely recommend one of our favourite restaurants here
We spent $153 here including the tip. Even though on the bill we were charged 17$ for zero coke I still decided to give a 15% tip because their server was a nice guy. They had a small glass for the coke so I had to ask refills 2 times & they charged 4.99 for each refill. If they gave us 2 cans of coke from the beginning we wouldn't have needed a refill. Nonetheless, 17$ for zero coke is just insane to me, & didn't mention we were going to be charged.
I think the business owner should really think of other ways of making money than taking out of people's pockets like this. There's a level of shame in any business, but this was just beyond our imagination.

There is nothing wrong with the restaurant neither with the food. The food is really good, but you can not say that is an spanish restaurant just because you think, you must have an idea about Spanish food.
There wasn't the most iconic dish (Tortilla de patata) & they oferta small potatoes cubes cover with mayo-sriracha as Patatas Bravas...
So sad.
Bueno no quiera dejar un comentario en espanol, ya que solo comenté sobre mi experiencia. Tengo 3 abuelos espanoles y he estado más de 8 veces en espana y nunca las Patatas Bravas son cubitos con siriracha mayo, son papás cocidas y fritas con sal de grano y paprika, a veces con guindillas y ajo.
La tortilla de patata, está en el menú, pero ese día no me la quisieron preparar, ya que si tenían huevos, queso y papas, pero n9 el talento para hacerlo.
Muy mal tratar de justificar lo injustificable
Kaffee und Mineralwasser, dazu eine Früchteplatte bestellt. Früchteplatte kam nach einigen Minuten, leider mit einigen nicht mehr geniessbaren Himbeeren darunter.
Kaffee und Mineralwasser gingen dem Personal unter und dann wurde das Wasser falsch serviert. (Grosse Flasche statt klein, immerhin dann nicht verrechnet).
Servicepersonal wirkte etwas fehl im Job, kann aber auch am etwas grösseren Gösteandrang gelegen haben - ca. 15 Uhr am Samstag bei schönem Wetter.
Ambiente nicht schlecht, einige Meter weg vom ganz grossen Strom, man kann gut in der Strasse sitzen.
Wir werden leider nicht mehr kommen, da gibt es vermutlich einige bessere Lokale im selben Viertel.
Absolutely disgusting & heartless behavior. My 5-month-old baby was crying from hunger, & my husband politely asked for something as simple as a small piece of banana or mashed potatoes. We were not asking for free food - we offered to pay & even said we would buy a full meal.
They looked at a hungry crying baby & still refused to help just because we were sitting at another restaurant nearby. As a mother, watching people ignore a crying infant with zero compassion was infuriating & heartbreaking. It costs nothing to show basic humanity, but clearly that was too much to ask from them. We will never forget how cold & uncaring they were in that moment.
MONEY IS IMPORTANT BUT 5 month old baby need food & father asking & offering money as well & still didnt get due to they were setting on otger restaurant
Thats totally unacceptable & unhumanly behaviou

Very disappointing experience. Our 5-month-old baby was crying from hunger, & even after seeing the baby upset, they refused to help. I politely asked for a small piece of banana or some mashed potatoes & even offered to pay or buy a full meal.
Instead of showing a little kindness & compassion, they said no because we were sitting at another restaurant nearby. As parents, this was very heartbreaking & unexpected.

Birthday dinner. Hard to get reservation, thanks to the concierge at the Embassy Suites for snagging us a rez.
Little bit of a rocky start on a very busy Saturday night. But the staff was attentive & made it right - all went well from there.
The tomato bread appetizer was delicious, a French Canadian bruschetta dish! Also tasty was the tomato dip & bread that came while we were waiting to get our table sorted.
Cod croquettes next. Very nicely done with a nice aioli'sauce' dressing.
The Paella with seafood & chorizo was a nice portion to split & very tasty, the rice done perfectly. & the little lemon water cleansing bowls were so amazing for the fingers!
Finished with a creme brulee' that was also delicious. Very crisped sugar topping for sure!
To really make things special, the owner made several visits to our table. Definitely knows how to treat his clientele, must send a shout out to him.
He went out of his way to really make us feel special. Amazing guy.
The restaurant is a really cute vibe but unfortunately we were there as a large group (15 guests) & I don't think they were quite prepared for that. Food was delicious but it took us over an hour to get our bills & the service was very slow to get drinks & food.
Would try it again as a smaller group for sure!

Was hopeful - nice atmosphere, but it took over 30 minutes without being asked for a drink before we took things into our hands & cornered a server. We decided to keep the order short & simple based on this.
Food was okay, but combined with the service issues, that's how you get 2/5.
We stopped in for a drink. They didn't have the only menu item we wanted. They suggested we try the grilled octopus appetizer which ended up being 1 single tentacle for $30. Same price as an entire entree & it wasn't particularly well prepared. Drinks came after 30 minutes when it wasn't busy. Very overpriced for the portion size & quality. Big room for improvement here.c
