Great views, OK food. Service was slow but got the orders right. Steak frites orders were good but nothing special. Octopus tasted like it had been frozen. Caesar salad portion was large. Come here for the views & expect good, but not great, food - & it's pricey for what you're eating.
A friend wanted a beautiful, scenic place to catch up, & this is where we were lucky enough to go. The staff was very accommodating, attentive, & helpful (my French is terrible, & they were quite kind). The menu is impressive with a number of highlights like black pudding & beef cheek, but I went for the steak frites. We had a side of blue cheese, which was delicious, but foie gras would have been perfect! Dinner was delicious, & the views are spectacular! I'd strongly suggest reservations-especially during a sunset dinner/drinks & appies.
Superb views (although sadly it was cloudy the day we visited). The place has a real buzz to it & it is clearly a really popular spot, hence the need for reservations. We were a bit underwhelmed with the food & service. Nothing major, but just felt like it should have been a bit better for what we were spending & the reputation of the place. That said - I would definitely give it a second chance if we are in town again!
The overall experience was quite positive, with the enjoyable ambiance & scenic views being notable highlights. However, there was a minor issue with the waiter who appeared somewhat disoriented & delivered the wrong order. It was suggested that the menu could benefit from additional explanations. Nevertheless, everything else was satisfactory, particularly the restaurant's scenic view.
Night out with my girls (family) & loved the views from the 44th floor. The food was amazing, as well as the service! I will visit again when I'm in MTL.
Overlooking Montreal, the restaurant offers breathtaking views from the top floor—a true highlight. However, the culinary experience was underwhelming. My fish & chips & mac & cheese lacked flair & flavor. Service was just passable, we waited for too long. Visit for the scenery, not the food.
