Overall Léo attracts strong praise for food quality and inventive dishes, with many noting an excellent beef Wellington and other standout plates, plus a warm modern ambiance and attentive service that contributes to a memorable dining experience. The restaurant is repeatedly described as a high end option with a solid cocktail and wine program and pleasant staff, sometimes highlighted by renovations. However reviews also show inconsistency in service and value, including slow or under staffed evenings, missteps like dish mixups, and prices that can feel steep for portion sizes. Some brunch and breakfast visits were criticized for slow service or cold dishes, and a few notes mention spicy sauces without warnings. All in all Léo is seen as a top choice on Tremblant that can deliver exceptional meals and hospitality, but experiences vary and price remains a consideration.
Service was attentive & pleasant throughout the evening.
At this price point, I would have expected bread & butter to be offered at the start, as is common in similar restaurants.
The food was good, but the plates felt surprisingly sparse. The Beef Wellington came with barely two small pieces of eggplant. My girlfriend & daughter ordered steak & replaced the fries with salad; the steak arrived alone on a large plate with only some sauce. It looked unfinished & poorly assembled.
To make matters worse, the steak knives were so dull they could barely cut the meat. The waiter ended up giving us a butter knife, which worked better than the steak knives provided.
I was prepared to pay the'Mont Tremblant premium,' but the overall execution felt underwhelming & difficult to justify.
This was, without question, one of the most incompetent & infuriating restaurant experiences I have ever had.
We arrived at 8:00 p.m. & what should have been a simple dinner somehow turned into a 2.5+ hour endurance test. It took 30 minutes just to order drinks, & the night only went downhill from there.
The drinks were horrendous across the board. I ordered a Hugo Spritz that was completely flat-no bubbles, no freshness, absolutely dead. When I pointed it out, the server said,'Okay, I'll bring you another one,' took it away… & still charged us for it. Yes, we were charged for a drink that was acknowledged as bad & removed. Unreal.
Then came the appetizers. Every single one was disgusting & completely bland, despite being overloaded with so many ingredients listed on each plate that you'd expect some flavor by accident. Somehow, they managed to throw everything on the plate & still make it taste like nothing. Just messy, pointless, flavorless food.
Every drink afterward was just as bad as the first. Not a single decent cocktail the entire night.
We then ordered two steak frites:
• One medium rare
• One medium
They got both of them wrong.
The medium rare steak came out completely rare, & the medium steak came out medium rare. So not only can they not cook a steak properly, they can't even get either temperature right when making two steaks at the same time. That's basic steakhouse-level incompetence.
The fries were so overcooked they were basically crackers-dry, hard, & unpleasant. The'truffle' was low-quality, artificial-tasting, & disgusting. Nothing about it resembled real truffle.
The escargots were a joke. The smallest snails I've ever seen in my life-embarrassingly tiny. I've seen bigger snails outside after it rains.
To finish the disaster, I ordered a steak tartare & very clearly asked for the mushrooms to be removed & placed on the side. Instead, they brought the tartare with mushrooms mixed in, & then-somehow thinking this fixed it-also brought a side of mushrooms. & yes, I was charged for everything, including their mistake.
So let's summarize:
• Over 2.5 hours for a basic dinner
• Extremely slow, careless service
• Flat cocktails
• Charged for drinks taken back
• Bland, overloaded appetizers
• Two steak frites, both cooked wrong
• Fries cooked into crackers
• Fake, bad-quality truffle
• Microscopic escargots
• Special requests completely ignored
• Charged for every single error
This place is overpriced, poorly managed, & shockingly incompetent, surviving purely on location rather than quality. If you're in Mont-Tremblant, do yourself a favor & eat literally anywhere else.
I booked this restaurant well in advance for my wife's birthday dinner - a party of nine people for an important celebration. Four days before the reservation, I received a text saying my booking was canceled because someone had booked out the entire restaurant.
While I understand that things can happen, what followed was completely unacceptable.
I replied asking how they planned to help - whether they could assist with rebooking, offer alternatives, or at the very least acknowledge the inconvenience of canceling a birthday reservation days before the event. I received no response whatsoever. No apology. No follow-up. Nothing.
This was not an emergency or unforeseen circumstance. This was a conscious decision to cancel an existing reservation because a larger booking came along. If they think they can make more money off someone else, they will drop you without hesitation & leave you scrambling.
Customer service here is nonexistent. If you're planning a birthday, anniversary, or any meaningful gathering, do not trust this place. They've made it clear that once your reservation is inconvenient, you don't matter.
I will never return, & I strongly recommend others think twice before booking.
Holy cow, what a wonderful meal. We have been coming to Mont Tremblant for 4 years now & we all agreed that this was the best meal we ever had at the resort.
We had reservations for 10 & our server, Mathys was top notch. If I could give him 10 stars, I would. Give that guy a raise!
Literally everything about the meal was delicious. Make a reservation & go! You won't regret it.
Went yesterday & had a blast. Great music, amazing vibes, & seriously good food. Perfect place to eat, hang out, & enjoy the atmosphere - will definitely be back!
Une expérience gastronomique exceptionnelle. Service impeccable, plats d'une finesse remarquable, accords mets?vins parfaitement maîtrisés. Un lieu où chaque détail compte & où l'on vit un vrai moment d'exception.
Updated for 2025:
Do not go here. Our server vanished & when he did appear made zero effort. The food was completely underwhelming & several dishes were just terrible. The drinks were served in tiny thimble-sized glasses. & the food took 2 solid hours which was not acceptable, they had empty tables! I was so disappointed because it was so good last year. Don't waste your money!!

2024:
This was our best overall dining experience at tremblant this 2024 holiday season at Leo Boire. The service was amazing from the hostess to the servers to the manager to the bartender. All were friendly, & professional. The food was amazing, & I appreciated the attention to detail of all the fine touches during our evening. I would 💯 go back here & try additional items on the menu!! We will be back & amazing job by the chef & staff!!! 👏

Dommage, le service etait impeccable! Tres beau restaurant.
Horrible ! My head still hurts from the LOUD music that does not match the ambience & the menu & price !!
They charged us OVER $70 dollars for truffle risotto ( vegetarian ) /one dish !!!!! Horrible !
If u want to eat an expensive mediocre risotto & pay the price of a steak & get a headache from club level loud music go here otherwise save your money & save yourself from headache !!! I asked our server twice for lowering the loud music blasting & it seems the manager of this restaurant is clueless about customer satisfaction & I feel the y billed us too high for a risotto which is INSANE!!!!!!
Our bill came over $260 for 2ppl
Food was amazing, our server Patrick was one of the most welcoming & knowledgable servers I've ever had. Would come back just for the hospitality. The octopus was one of the highlights
Expérience culinaire incroyable & le personnel complètement incroyable & ça des l'entre dans le restaurant un incontournable de la montagne sans aucun doute !
