We went back for our anniversary. The food was amazing as always. We each started with an appetizer. I had the Crab Cake, & my husband had the Foie Gras. The crab cake was served with a gribiche sauce & julienne cucumber salad. I wanted more. The Duck foie gras au torchon was served with a brioche bread & a feuit chutney. The fries Gras was absolutely amazing. It was so finely done that it melted in your mouth. The main dishes consisted of a Hanger Steak served with fries & a mustard mayo. The homemade Bloody Pudding was served with finely whipped celery root & a cider sauce. Wow. Believe it or not, we were so full, I guess because of the wine, we shared a Rum baba with chantilly cream & grapefruit ice cream. The service was on point, & all the servers were attentive, courteous, & friendly. This restaurant is not cheap. But the experience & food were well worth the price. Reservations are a must. We were there on a Tuesday & the restaurant, inside & out was full. Another must. 2016 - The food was excellent. We had the grilled octopus as an appetizer. I had the onglet of beef & fries. The steak was cooked to perfection. My husband had the blood sausage. He said it was the best he ever had. The decor is nice but it is a bit noisy. Reservations are required because it is a small restaurant. Will go back.
The food was very good, I ordered the steak frites with wine. However, the service wasn't the best & it took quite long to get our food...
Great neighbourhood staple in Outremont where you will find a mix of usual patrons & those celebrating a special occasion. We had the asparagus appetizer, the Nordic shrimp guédille, the gaspacho & the lobster salad as a main. All exceptional. The wine list is solid. Had the Domaine Labet, fleur de savagnin 2020 which was lovely & reasonably priced.
Very good calamari appetizer. The Cornish Hen as a main was nice but wish I ordered something different, like one of their tartares. The Bloody Mary cocktail was not very good, but they didn't have it on the menu, so no need to expect much from it since it was a favor. The floor has a very nice set of tiles, like they belong in a very beautiful vacation home. For dessert the crème brûlée was great. You'll also have plenty of wines to pick from.
A fun spot to spend a Friday lunch & an early glass of wine. Experience the delight of the buzz from the restaurant & the delicious Chablis. I enjoyed the scallops & a very indulgent Caesar salad. Coffee & a térasse, I'm happy.
Went here with my girlfriend for our anniversary. The atmosphere is a little sterile but is still very upscale. Nice drink list but an absolutely massive wine list. If you know someone who loves wine, this is the place to take them. Great service too. We split the beef tartare to start & it was delicious. She had the mushroom ravioli which was a savory delight. I had the blood pudding which wasn't mineraly or metallic tasting at all. For dessert we had the banana nut sticky toffee pudding, it was a buttery sumptuous perfect ending to the meal. It was worth every penny! They had a couple of vegetarian options on the menu as well.
This is a Montréal staple restaurant where you can always get good food, service & nice wine. Unfortunately it has joined the group of restaurants that now gouge their customers. They used to have a terrific selection of nice wines at fair prices but this is no longer the case. We paid way too much for the wine A bill for 4 people was $700 including tax & tip. Ridiculous & not worth it. Too bad as I won't be going back anytime soon.

Great wine selection & great food too! (10pm specials...YES)

Went there with another couple to try out the after 10 special menu they had. We had a great time (great wine). The food was very good, even though I found the portions a little small for my liking, everyone else was stuffed. Great service, great wine, great time.
