Great balance of firm exterior & pillowy interior & the all dressed/everything seasoning was very flavorful.
I discovered this place the last time I was back home & came here 3x times within a week. The bagels are fresh, crunchy & heavenly delicious! The service is also top notch. I recommend all bagel lovers to come & give them a try, you won't regret it!
Their bagels are so good & the prices are very reasonable. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside-the texture is just perfect. The staff are also super friendly, which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Had a cheesecake bagel with a coffee was a really cute place to do work!
If you are a bagel fan you need to try Le Trou. Fresh bagels baked everyday. Full of flavor & homemade tastiness. I am a big fan of the Deluxe bagel in an everything bagel. Hits the spot, is salty just enough & full of flavors!
Smoked salmon bagel is always a treat! Lovely bagel shop-worth a stop if you're in the neighbourhood.
Ok, real review time.. I don't write many reviews but reading the insane posts here, I had to set the record straight.. The SESAME bagel is nowhere near a "montreal bagel".. I didn't try any of the "sandwiches" which may be fine, but we're talking bagels here.... Sticking with a pure montreal bagel, this doesn't cut it. Take the trip to st viateur, Fairmount, bagel ouest in ddo or even kettlemans in a pinch. This was the second time I got bagels after being dissapointed with texture & taste when they opened. They may look like our bagels but they have the insides of a new York bagel. I knew the second I picked one up. That's fine if you like that, but it ain't what us bagel purists are about.. Please don't consider the SESAME as a representation of a "real" montreal bagel.. It's a hybrid at best.. Also, strangely the only bagel shop I've been to, to give 12, & not 13 (bakers dozen) when you buy a dozen...
Great bagel & sandwich Nice smooth jazz music & a small parking lot ️.
The bagels here are definitely a top 3 in Montreal. Personally prefer this over St. Viateur & Fairmount. I usually get the salmon on everything bagel- it's so delicious & well-balanced. The latte (hot) is also made well.
I had SUCH a good smoked salmon bagel here i'd probably live here if i could. It's a nice cozy cafe store with a couple of seats & a very rustic, warehouse vibe to it. Service was great, bagel was even better, glad to have listened to whoever recommended this bagel shop!!
My wife, kids, & I came here on our family trip. Great bagels. My wife had the sesame bagel with cream cheese, son had cinnamon/raisin, & I had the beer Parmesan bagel with ham/egg/lettuce/tomato. Owner was very nice & I would highly recommend this spot.
An awesome place with a good vibe in it, super clean & the food it was excellent, i had smoked meat with griffintown bagel & it was really a lot of meat inside, & the owners they are very welcoming with the smile, it was excellent, thank you for making such a good place
If you're looking for authentic MTL bagels, you need to stop by Le Trou! The bagels are made in-house & are absolutely incredible. The staff are wonderful & the space has great window seating if you want a nice view while you enjoy your bagel & coffee. The location is great too & I recommend going for a stroll along the canal after you leave!
