As, per food i will say all veg briyani especially, Narmada briyani is awsm & Ghee roast is little bit spicy for my platter but good for people who like too much spice. Quantity is great no question about it.also, service is great do talk to staff for pricing & accommodation. Moreover, their paneer keema briyani & narmada paneer briyani are really good.
Not sure what the bad reviews are about-our experience was excellent! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at Le Swaad. The curries were rich & flavorful, the biryani had just the right amount of spice, & everything was served hot & fresh.
Highlights from our meal:
Biryani de Mouton Rôti au Chon - extra spicy & absolutely delicious
Curry d'Agneau Chettinadu - bold, aromatic, & deeply satisfying
Kofta de Malel - perfect for kids, no spice but full of flavor
MAIS FRIT CROQUANT - crispy & fun for the little ones
Naan à l'Ail & Pain Plat Tandoori - warm, fresh, & perfect for dipping
Mango Lassi - sweet, creamy, & refreshing
Service was quick, the restaurant was clean, & there was plenty of parking. Great spot for families & spice lovers alike. We'll definitely be back!
Visited on a whim only to discover that we may have stumbled upon a local gem.
Le Swaad is the ideal destination for a heart-warmingly indulgent Indian meal to combat the cold seasons, all at excellent prices that won't break the wallet. Every bite left me salivating in anticipation for more.
The food is simply delicious with each dish a flavor bomb that reflects a perfectly balanced use of spices without leaving the dish spicy. The butter chicken was rich & decadent with its thick gravy bursting with aroma & chicken still tender & moist. The palak paneer creamy, earthy & fragrant. The kaju ghee roast mushrooms packed a punch of flavor with a warmth that softly lingers.
The service was accommodating. The staff were very nice & also showed us the ideal way to order for saving money & getting the best bang for your buck. We felt well taken care of.
Overall, we had a wonderful experience. Le Swaad delivered on the quality of the food, the service, & the overall atmosphere for dining.
Really good Indian restaurant, you have spicy & not spicy options. Be aware that spicy, could be really spicy.
The food tastes very great! We were a group of five & seated quickly on a Saturday night. We each got a different combo (Curry, rice, naan) & the food came after waiting a normal amount of time. The curries were creamy & flavorful, the naan breads were thin & soft for some, a bit too crispy for some others & the rice was nicely cooked & herbaceous. We were served water jugs as soon as we ask for some & even ice 🥶.
The waiters were very nice & welcoming. I felt comfortable requesting & requests I had. The waitress even recommended us to take a lesser level of spicy for a dish (We would've died).
The restaurant was lit nicely except for the area we were seated, there was a motion activated bright light that kept turning on & off, it wasn't too bad but it was enough to be noticed. There was also indian(?) music playing, pretty good music, not too loud, we were able to talk to each other comfortably. Also, go in the theater next door & watch Kpop Demon Hunter,'Free' &'What it sounds like' gang
Food was tasty but much too spicy..I mean super hot..looks like its closed now..the windows are papered up
Food was delicious. A little spicy for kids, but for us it was great. Some things that could be improved: Serving spoons with the dishes would be nice. Music a little loud at times. Indian music would be nice, rather than mainstream. Sweet corn soup was more like a sweet & sour soup. Thank you for the food!
First visit on a Saturday for lunch. It wasn't busy & we learned that they have only been open for about a month. I had the chettinadu lamb curry & was pleasantly surprised to find it came with roti. The lamb was very tender & the flavors were very good. The roti was good dipped in the curry. I ordered the paratha latcha (tandoori) to try as well & while taste was fine I don't think it fit the description on the menu as flaky. The lamb was just spicy enough (2 peppers) though if someone is not able to handle spice it might be considered a bit spicy. I also ordered the chai & it was very good. Perfect as is & didn't even need to add sugar though it was offered. I had the opportunity to try a few bites of the butter chicken & it was delicious. Not too oily & the flavors were perfect, a good choice for those who doesn't like spicy as well. The tikka masala was also good. Garlic naan was very good & went with the different curry dishes. Others at the table had the cheese naan & they were a bit overwhelmed with the amount of garlic (I was too full at this point to try). They have an extensive drink menu with non-alcoholic & alcohol options. There's certain dishes that are only available on the weekends as well so something to try for the next visit. The combos come with rice & naan. Overall, it was a great experience. Service was thoughtful & our server patiently assisted us with the menu. Happy to have a delicious option for Indian cuisine on the south shoren
Excellent food, but very spicy. If they can have few dishes without chilly it would be great for canadians. More vegetarian dishes can be included
Very big portions, Biryani are for 2 people. Very authentic Indian food. It was a little bit two spicy for my wife. Definitely worth trying.
This Indian restaurant offers great vegetarian options that truly stand out. The ghee roast biryani is a must try perfectly spiced & full of flavor. The baby mushroom appetizer is delightful, with a unique blend of taste. Highly recommend this spot for anyone craving flavorful vegetarian dishes. Must try for people craving spicy food.
Really good first experience, the onion pakoras were different than other Indian restaurants I know but really tasty & crispy. A sauce with that would have been even better but it was close to perfection. The Hyderabad chicken was tender, tasty, spicy & a good portion. I will go back for sure.
