This was my first time eating Indian food & i loved the experience. I came with my partner's family & the staff was really helpful & took the time to advise us about what to eat. I 100% recommend this restaurant. The have to-go boxes in case you cant finish what you order.

We were driving back to Toronto from Quebec City & decided to stop at The Swaad Indian Restaurant for lunch in Montreal-& it turned out to be one of the highlights of our journey.

The restaurant has a warm, inviting ambiance with a cozy atmosphere, & the vintage bike at the entrance was an instant hit with the kids.

We started with the crispy corn & masala fries, both of which the kids absolutely loved. The paneer butter masala was rich, velvety, & perfectly paired with incredibly soft butter naans. Among the vegetarian appetizers, the soya chaap was the standout & an absolute must-try. For the non-vegetarian starters, the karivepaku chicken delivered bold, tangy flavors with just the right amount of spice, while the fish was exceptionally tender & juicy.

No Indian feast is complete without biryani, & both the mutton ghee roast biryani & the special chicken biryani were outstanding-aromatic, flavorful, & easily the stars of the meal.

The quality of the food, the welcoming service, & the inviting ambiance exceeded our expectations, especially for a Monday afternoon. If you're looking for authentic Indian cuisine in Montreal, this place is well worth the visit. We'll definitely be back on our next trip!

It's really sad to see how guys are exploiting one person & taking 1000 work from her ! Only knw person who is handling whole restaurant- taking orders , taking bills , cleaning the tables . Handling all the customers! Why don't you keep one more person to help her !
She is such a sweet & hardworking girl ! Such nicely she is handling the whole restaurant without any complaints with smoke on her face !
I'll give 1000 stars for her quick & humble service but you guys should consider a human as human please . Please keep more staff don't overburden one person with 100 responsibilities all together ! Stop exploiting these innocent people!!
