The food was bad, chicken in club sandwich looked & tasted like it sat for half a day. Drinks were mostly. Table service was good but being seated was extremely rude. The terrace is nice on a sunny day
The restaurant is nice but i a bit noisy. With the kid next to you, oh god ! Waiterness is very nice ladies & always smile to us. She took care of us very well.
for the food, the Rib is a suprise to me as it is not tender as i thought. Normally the meat will come out righ the way when just touch it.........my dad can't eat but he likes the sauce. Fish & chip is nice & so as my soup of today. the chicken Wing is good too, crispy & the sauce is delicious

After spending a long weekend in M.T, we dined at many restaurants. This was by far the worst service & the cheapest tasting food. We ordered the salmon, club sandwich, mac & cheese & chicken. We were not once asked if our meals were okay & waitress just came to us with our bills.
I never leave bad reviews but this place was a waste of my money & I don't want you to waste yours.
This place is awesome! Visited during the Blues Festival, while the Resort Village was hopping. The service was awesome (Gen Bou is super-fun), & the food was great. We had the Club sandwich (with poutine upgrade), & the Flying Mile Chicken Sandwich, & they were both great. The Chocolate Cake melts in your mouth.
There is a nice selection of Québec craft beers, & the staff made great recommendations. The patio has a super-cool vibe!
Take the one-star reviews with a MASSIVE grain of salt. This place is a GEM!
Average food, average service. The best part was the fries with Hellmann's mayo (which they don't make in-house). I asked for Wi-Fi, & they didn't have it. I requested a grilled chicken burger instead of breaded, & they said no. The price was high for what I got-a sandwich with barely any chicken. Look for another place.

My experience at Le Shack was mixed. The food was pretty mediocre-nothing too special, & the chicken sandwich I had was quite dry & lacking in flavor. However, the service & atmosphere more than made up for it. Our server was incredibly nice & attentive, which really enhanced the overall dining experience. While the food didn't stand out, the impeccable service & ambiance made it worth the visit.
Location is key, Le Shack is located smack in the center of an entertainment area. Outdoor activities in the back, the terrace is opened straight to the musical stage in the front. We sat on the terrace enjoying the Fall's apricity, sipping our favorite drinks & contemplating the ongoing event in front of us. As for the food, my wife was pleased with the bbq chicken, my philly's steak on the other hand was not the best in town. The bread was announced as baguette bread but the sliced roasted beef was served on a bun, soft & very soggy, once dipped into the beef's juice, it crumbled down & lost in the juice. Our expectations weren't high for the food in a tourist destination as this, the ambiance made up all, the food was secondary.
Great place for dinner! Our server was amazing! She was very attentive & nice! Always checking in to see how we were doing. Very family friendly! For dinner, we had the shack burger, soup of the day (cauliflower chowder), calamari, filet mignon, Greek salad, kids chicken tender, & kids hot dog. The salad was fresh & tasty. Shack burger was on point. The steak was done to order, which was medium. Kids loved their food! Overall, great experience!
Nice place. Good ambiance. Good service. Ok food. Ordered a Mac & Cheese au Poulet Fumé. The chicken was not smoked. So I'm slightly disappointed. More like big chunks of dry, unseasoned chicken breast in a cheese pasta. Cheese sauce was good. Similar to a common alfredo sauce. I had a piece of bone in my plate, which is ok, no problem. But if you advertise smoked chicken, make smoked chicken. The place looks like a smokehouse so it would've been nice. It wasn't that busy at 9pm on a thursday.

I would tip whenever I go out. But mandatory tip? Are your waiters not getting paid well? I paid my bill with a 15% tip only to find that I was charged a 15% 'mandatory tip'. Food was okay. Loved the chicken wings, big shak & spicy fries.
