Average food, average service. The best part was the fries with Hellmann's mayo (which they don't make in-house). I asked for Wi-Fi, & they didn't have it. I requested a grilled chicken burger instead of breaded, & they said no. The price was high for what I got-a sandwich with barely any chicken. Look for another place.
We got trio mini burger for my daughter but they buns were not fresh at all. Even though we told them it is not fresh, they did bring more non fresh buns & no solution! My burger was. Yumy but I wish we chose another place who take care customers better. Think twice!
The atmosphere looked lovely, they even had small fire pits lit up on each table which was nice. We ordered a Roasted beef burger & club sandwich. The roast beef sandwich was just okay, they club was so dry & terrible. Also I went inside the restaurant & tried to order food to take away. The server said it was not possible & I had to order food online if it was for a take away. Not sure what that's procedures about🤦🏼♀️
Sometimes you have to stop & consider the location of where the restaurant is in order to make a fair assessment, so I will keep that in mind for my review. This restaurant was located right at the base of the luge track, so it is nicely located. Now, when you consider the location you can expect to pay a little more for the meal as...well.... location, location, location. But the prices weren't that far out of touch with a restaurant in the city. $22-29 for a burger is not out of the norm these days. The food was good, & we enjoyed it. The burger was ok. In that I mean, it tasted good & fresh, but it wasn't anything to text home about (sorry for you youngers, that is a play on anything to write home about...like you know a letty, no not an email, a letter you would put in a mailbox...you know what, never mind let's move on). The brisket mac & cheese was a really good size portion (don't let the picture fool you) & tasted so good. Their broiled it just before they served it, so the cheese had a nice crispyness to it. The other two burgers lined up the same as above, & were good but not knocking your socks off. Now, the poutine upgrade was very reasonable for $4. There was a good amount of cheese & the gravy was good. Now, let's talk about the fries. They were ok, I guess. Now, we are a dry snob family & will drive an hour or two for a good fry truck, but these fries just didn't hit the mark. They were thin, which is fine, but they were overcooked. Not crispy overcooked, like Sat in the oil too long overcooked. They weren't super hot either. Oh ya, when providing mayo, giving us a self serve pack of it really isn't the way to go in my opinion. The waiter was fantastic. He had a good sense of humour, & wasn't hovering all the time, but always showed up in time. All in all, the meal scratched the hunger itch, but at the price point I think it could have been just a little bett.
Very uncomfortable chairs. Seem to be on purpose for higher volume of customers. Food was OK , too much sauce in the burger & no flavor. Very fast service & great servers

The food was good, but our server seemed like she wanted to be anywhere but at work. She wasn't even the one to bring us our food. I would expect a higher level of service if I'm paying almost $100 for 3 people to eat burgers & fries, no offense.
dined in yesterday & take out today! I wasn't expecting much since touristy packed restos tend to lack a bit in food & overall but we were plesantly surprised by the food & super fast service. we had the shack burger & beef brisket sandwich on the first day & had 2 burgers & onion soup for take out the next day & everything was superb 👌🏼
I have been there twice this week once with my grandson & we shared a poutine avec Pork, & today with a friend & we both had burgers. I normally don't buy burgers in Canada because they have to be cooked well done. These were still juicy & Delicious.

Great place for dinner! Our server was amazing! She was very attentive & nice! Always checking in to see how we were doing. Very family friendly! For dinner, we had the shack burger, soup of the day (cauliflower chowder), calamari, filet mignon, Greek salad, kids chicken tender, & kids hot dog. The salad was fresh & tasty. Shack burger was on point. The steak was done to order, which was medium. Kids loved their food! Overall, great experience!
Idéalement situé au pied des pistes, nous nous sommes arrêté au Shack avec l'envie de déguster un bon Burger ! Pour moi le montagnard & pour mon chéri le vege Burger. Déjà à peine arrivés nous étions pris de haut par la personne qui assigne les places, cette dernière nous a ignoré pour installé un groupe qui est arrivé après nous. Après que je lui ai demande directement s'il y avait de la place, elle nous a fait patienter un peu avant de nous installer avec nonchalance. Notre serveur était lui sympathique, il nous a bien expliqué le menu, servi de l'eau rapidement... Quant aux burgers... La tranche de cheddar est une vulgaire tranche qu'on retrouve en paquet au supermarché, elle n'a aucun goût & n'est pas fondu. Pour le steak vege... on a du demander si ce n'était pas un vrai steak car il était absolument identique au mien alors que bon il y a des végétariens pour qui le goût de la viande les dégoûte désormais. Nous n'avons pas apprécié notre repas... Dommage car l'endroit est sympa
