About

Le Réservoir operates as a prominent microbrewery and bistro that emphasizes the intersection of craft beer production and regional culinary influences. The menu focuses on elevated international fare, utilizing seasonal ingredients to create robust, flavor-forward compositions that complement a frequently rotating selection of house-made ales. Patrons navigate a space defined by high ceilings, expansive windows, and a minimalist industrial aesthetic that facilitates a focused sensory experience. Review Summary

Le Réservoir is widely praised as a vibrant destination in the Plateau neighborhood, celebrated primarily for its exceptional selection of craft beers and inviting, cozy atmosphere. Many guests highlight the high quality of the food, particularly the chicken sandwich and various small plates, noting that the venue is a perfect spot for brunch or a relaxed evening with friends. While the majority of visitors experience warm, attentive, and knowledgeable service, a few patrons have expressed concerns regarding inconsistent hospitality and portion sizes that they feel do not always align with the price point. Despite these minor criticisms, the combination of a great terrace, a refined drink menu, and a charming location ensures that most guests remain eager to return.

La cream ale & le sandwich au poulet sont hallucinants.

Such a nice little gem. Try their cream ale. It's a dangerous drink; incredibly creamy & tasty which makes you keep wanting to drink more & more.

I recently had a great time here at Reservoir. It was my first time visiting for lunch & I ended up trying a flight of four different beers as well as ordering the chicken sandwich. The beers were pretty good, I liked the blonde lager the most.

As far as the chicken sandwich goes, I believe this is hands down one of the greatest chicken sandwiches I've EVER had. Highly recommend getting this sandwich if you ever stop by for lunch or dinner, definitely a must if visiting.

The staff was very friendly, I was being helped out by Fred & Ales at the bar. Ales was very helpful when answering questions I had about the menu & specific recommendations &/or translations from the french terminology on the menu.

All in all, it was a great experience & I will definitely be back on my next trip to Montreal!

Their creme ale is incredible! Love this place & their beer! The bar & outside are the best spots to seat & chill!

Destination brewery in Montreal. Trying the cream ale is a requirement. Pair it with some oysters if you're into that they are very affordable at $18 CAD. Service is a team effort & they really do a great job. They have outdoor & indoor seating if you make it out during the warmer months

Good, if somewhat limited selection of beers, recommend the cream ale & stout, super smooth Food is above what's you'd expect in a bar, & the staff are great - especially the dude with the yellow hair - tartare & the cheese plate for me

The beer & the food have changed. First, their brilliant signature cream ale is dead & gone. Very sad because for years I would go out of my way to invite everyone I knew to come & taste it. They still have a Cream ale but it is not as brilliant as the original. Not even close. The new brew-master is experimenting, & needs time to mature

The food used to have flourishes of genius, & creative presentation, but sadly no more. The old chef for example knew about coulis, & deglazing. I went through the menu this week & all is changed to ordinary food with ordinary presentation. The prices remain up there however.

The Main in Montreal is where people come for excellence, value, & consistency. Sadly the Reservoir, the jewel of Duluth, is wounded, & the new regime there are on notice. Sorry guys, I am sure you try hard, but you screwed with a great landmark. I was a regular, but it will be a while before I give you another chance if at all.
