Absolutely amazing! We came here for a bachelorette & our party consisted of both vegans & non-vegans & everybody was blown away by the selection & how good the food was.
Highly recommend the tasting menu (both vegan & regular). Incredibly selection of dishes on both & they have a nice balance of protein & vegetables.
Absolutely delicious! The ambience was wonderful with piano playing & people smiling. The service was great & so friendly & even offered us free dessert but we were too stuffed from our massive incredible dinner! 100% adding this place to my favourite restaurants! Plus we're vegan & the fact they had a whole section for us to choose from is very cool! Yummmm

LOVED Le Nil Bleu! We are vegetarians, & totally enjoyed our experience at Le Nil Bleu. The ambiance was warm & inviting, lovely candlelight & live jazz—an unexpected plus. The two musicians were awesome—really enjoyed sitting near them, such talented guys, & obviously having a great time themselves. We got the vegan tasting assortment for two—allowing us to try everything we wanted—All so very good! We will definitely visit again, whenever we visit Montreal!
We arrived ravenously hungry in anticipation of a great meal, & we feasted on a variety of delicious vegan dishes. This was our second visit, & we'll be back! The service was prompt & attentive.
Details matter soo much when it comes to customer service. I love this restaurant & will definatly come back but i feel they need this feedback. When greeting clients, please smile & ask right away ‘do you have reservations, if so under what name'?. I was greeted as Hi. & that it. I had to do the whole talking. If a client takes the time to book a table online, then please coordinate with your schedule & be prepared for when they show up. We ordered a vegetarian plate to share & got the meat plate. When we adressed it to the waitresses, they each said ‘im not the one who's serving your table (Table 43) but we can change it for you. When she brought the right plate, she said it again ‘i wasnt the one who served you but here is the vegan plate' instead of a simple & short ‘im sorry for the mix up :) ‘ . Then we asked for another wine glass, it took litteraly 15 minutes before she brought it & that only because we reminded her. Its ok, i guess it was a busy night for them but details matter ... at the end the waitress made us pay & didnt even appoligize for the mix up, just here is the machine & pay up ... this restaurant has great potential & the food tastes amazing. I hope this review will be used positively & constructively. customers do recommend restaurants 80% of the time because of the amazing service they got because there are plenty of restaurants in Montreal ...

Follow your nose! Even the napkins are scented with warm spice.
Service was prompt, efficient & bilingual. The atmosphere is cosy & appropriate for a broad range of groups: couples, families & groups of friends.
Food wasn't just Ethiopian, it seemed that there were other African counties represented. We had a nice South African Pinot Noir with the sampling platter for two. The vegan appetizer star was the chick pea lemon - hummus-like spread. & my favourite meat main was the chicken. My husband also liked the lamb & beef.
Communal style plate for the tasting menus for two with little teff crepes to capture the food up & eat it.
